Coaches have been impressed with him all year. Had not Etling had such a good year, Brennan would have played

To be fair, the dude had 2 torn ACLs and missed a lot of time.

He will need to learn to take snaps from under center, etc.

Will he ever get "great"? No telling for certain. But, will he be an asset and is the POTENTIAL for him to become awesome? Absolutely.

And, he will be a terrific Dual Threat. He can be used like Ryan Perriloux was early on. Take the "wildcat" snaps with a true threat to pass.

I'll cheer like hell for whoever is in the game. But, I am hopeful that LN will develop into a really good qb. Could be like Blake Sims....not much until the end of his career and then very good.

Yet he still wont get any significant playing time in the bowl game. Shame

Meh. I’ve argued since the Troy loss and even more since the Bama loss that Brennan should be given more real life playing time to get ready for next year.

But...Etling gave all he had to the program and I’m OK with him taking every snap in what will likely be the last game he ever plays. He deserves it.

Narcisse played 3 games his junior year of HS before the knee injury. It's understandable that he needs time to develop. He also gets an extra year due to the RS. I fully expect Canada will have packages where he uses Narcisse and may even rotate series some games.

Practice =/= a game.

That said, I think he has a bright future ahead of him.

Except Matt Flynn wasn't bad his whole career. It's just who he was behind on the depth chart, which was a number 1 overall draft pick.

Well I hope it translates to games, but I guess being accurate in practice is generally a good thing. Unless you are Rohan, he didn't so much like practice.

Lowell is big, strong, and athletic. He's a genetic freak.

I don't think you can compare Harris to him in those regards and I mean that with no disrespect to Harris.

Harris' biggest problem is he couldn't stay calm during games to use his talent and there is nothing so far suggest Lowell is that way.

Hope so...know more when he gets bull rushed in a live game. He seems to have all the physical tools but the mental tools he will have to show later. No reflection on Brennan but Harris was the king of practice.

Good to hear thanks. He and narcisse will be a great battle in camp. I’m glad I don’t have to make that decision

Lol. Harris was rail thin as a freshman and nowhere near as athletic as Lowell. As for accuracy and touch I'm not sure. Obviously Harris never developed either but I don't have any legit source or knowledge about Lowell on that front.
