Kindergarten meeting so adults were not invited.

Which is why I don't understand why the ADs aren't with the presidents and chancellors making the decisions or the ADs making the decisions on behalf of the universities. Many of them don't know what's going on to make educated decisions on athletic matters.

Sankey isn't being voted out
Optics of that would be horrible for the league. Shows more turmoil. If they vote to change him out, it'll come next year or something when all of this has fallen off the headlines.
Best case we can hope for is they postpone everything then eventually drop their lawsuit and one day in the future Sankey "retires".

It would actually be the opposite. It would show that this was all caused by a commissioner with a vendetta.

Sankey is not getting fired. He has the backing of almost all the other schools if not all of them. I'm telling you this isn't really about "pro" players. This is about burning Kiffin, and LSU, for leaving Ole Miss before the playoffs. Doesn't anyone else think this is a ridiculous overreaction to signing two players that went undrafted? Because it's really about hating Kiffin and him leaving Ole Miss before the playoffs. Everything else is moot.

I don't think he'll be voted out just yet. But I bet he's starting to feel the squeeze. This was the dumbest shite he could have ever done. Now even the national sentiment is lining up squarely against him.
I do think in the end, he's gone though. He took a shot at the king - and he missed. In the meantime, enjoy his "welp, looks like I fricked up" moment. It's pretty glorious.
Hold firm. We'll soon all get to point and laugh.

massive lawsuits and every other member of the conference would be involved in those lawsuits
The conferences and member colleges will not want to pay for a lawsuit, nor any awarded damages.
What they are terrified is discovery and publicly released communications.

The only way this happens is if word form DC indicates the only shot at PCSA reviving or to avoid tax exempt status removal is to remove Sankey.
He has all the cover he needs today from his liberal Presidents.
The SEC is headed down a path of polarization along ideological lines very similar to our country. This isn’t going away nor getting walked back anytime soon. A&M, Texas, and Florida presidents are much more in line with Wade Rousse than classic liberal holistic admission Charlie Kirk hating types.

It would show turmoil in the conference. It's time for the adults to have a unified front (even if fake) and quietly make changes next year.
This is a huge business and this is PR 101. You don't make dramatic moves like this, it shows instability.

Sankey will be voted out Thursday
Where things could change is with future legal action. If Judge Jorden reached out and touched some of these SOBs personally, or they got tagged in the players' suits, the landscape might change.

They have been told LSU is loaded with NFL players. Some might even believe this is why we dominated Clemson
I am 100% convinced that Sankey along a few vocal SEC Presidents with a vendetta against Kiffin (TN and Ole Miss for certain) intentionally misled most of the other schools and that when all is said and done. Sankey will be sacrificed to avoid massive legal action against the Conference.
Other school leaders who helped mislead the SEC regarding facts concerning LSU should go down with him, but I think that is unlikely
