My opinion: Sankey will be voted out Thursday

LSU won’t be getting expelled from the SEC Thursday. If that were to happen LSU would file massive lawsuits and every other member of the conference would be involved in those lawsuits.
The only lack of control is anything Sankey is involved on.

There are two choices now. LSU is expelled or LSU is not. If LSU is not, Sankey looks like a complete fool and an embarrassment to the SEC. These school presidents aren’t going to want to go down with him.

Presidents know a lot less about athletics and difference between mini-camp and pro rosters….
They have been told LSU is loaded with NFL players. Some might even believe this is why we dominated Clemson.

Nothing Sankey says or does can be trusted. He looked like a complete buffoon on the stand last week. I was shocked at either how much of a liar or how incompetent he is. It's one or the other after saying he had not read the bylaws of the updated version of the 5-in-5 eligibility rule.
You're suing a school and threatening expulsion of one of the founding members of the SEC and you say under oath that you have not read the updated bylaws of the 5 in 5 rule as the commissioner of the biggest conference in football?

Stinky will not be voted out on Thursday - It will take some time for that - but it will come.
As for the lawsuits towards the SEC and other SEC schools. That will happen.
Those Liberal Presidents have no idea what they are getting their schools into. But, you know those liberals stick together, so as of right now, IF they have the vote on Thursday, LSU will be kicked out.
THEN, this is when the "fun" starts - I'm talking lawsuits, contempt of court, etc.

it doesn't get to this point if the other members of the conference supported LSU's stance.
Sankey hasn't gone rogue on a power trip, he's following his marching orders and trying to get LSU to fall back in line.

I totally agree. Sankey won't be voted out Thursday, but this might be the beginning of a shaking and possibly the fall of the SEC as its been. The SEC was on the rise and at the top of college sports, but as in all things I felt there was a fall coming. I just didn't know my Tigers would be in the middle of it. But I don't believe it will be to the detriment of our beloved LSU, but the SEC won't go unaffected.

I agree with this, but it does show me how weak as a leader he really is.
I believe the reason for this filing is to claw back the authority taken away by the State court. I think that there is some real angst in the SEC offices about the effecttiveness of the threats that they are hurling.
I don't see it necessarily as a precursor to the immediate expulsion of LSU as a member of the SEC. I do see, however, the SEC wanting to show off its newfound authority by making some examples, and LSU is the low-hanging fruit.
