looks like his contract was for about a million almost 20 years ago. Not much if any of that is still in their pockets.
some were acting like the Brooks family is poor and had all of their hopes on GBJ making the League
to me that is BS

wtf are you talking about? vertigo is typical of all those symptoms...you dont just go get an mri on the brain immediately for everyone that comes in.
I don't have vertigo so I'm not well informed, but do people with vertigo have those symptoms on a daily basis? And if they do, ho long to they usually go before they ask if it might be something other than vertigo?

Holy shite. Brian Kelly c’mon man.
Idk about you, but if someone is suing me… I’m ceasing contact before I’m even told too.

Greg's family claims BK last contacted them in Oct 2023. It appears the lawsuit was filed in Oct 2024.
What happened in the interim?
do you know if the family was talking about filing a lawsuit? do you know if the family is telling the truth? and got damn...he contacted him for 3 months, eventually you have to move on.

I don't know and you don't know either. I already stated as much.
But, I am not the one claiming something occurred a certain way, you are.

We have no clue and neither do you. Are you just assuming that the family is lying? Either way, you can see how cutting off all contact with a former player that has a permanent disability after 3 months is a bad look right?

SMH. This statement makes no sense. If someone is experiencing vertigo symptoms, then that's how it's handled. That's a very common thing to get. No one is thinking a brain tumor and getting a cat scan right away. Also, is Brian Kelly supposed to call every day? The whole season he was out, it was about him. I don't see the family getting much money if any. Nothing seems wrong, unless there's more to the story.

imo no...thats actually much longer than i would expect someone in Bks position would continue to contact them

man, if i’m BK i’d be pissed at the Brooks and his family to make him look like the villain when alls he ever done was be supportive
that such a billshit move and hope the family gets shite

Just like BK said, "family" right?
As you said, "imo", "much longer than I would expect."
I think many of us disagree with that statement, but whatever works for you is cool, I guess.
Personally, I hope BK actually did talk to them much longer than is being told in this video. Maybe we find out one day, maybe we don't.

I dont have an opinion on this, I know that the interview came off as genuine and heartfelt. I also am hopeful he can recover to some form of normalcy. There are a lot of facts supporting both sides that I am sure we are ignorant to, so any judgement is misplaced. I do think ABC is being absolutely horrible in comparing the two patients with no mention of tumor size, location or other factors that could have led to outcomes being no the same at this point.

I hope Greg Brooks can have some sort of recovery from this and sorry but I couldn't watch all of that for multiple reasons and I'll leave it right there. Other than saying, Michael Strahan should know how to pronounce Louisiana State University.

I'm sorry for Brooks' situation. It's terribly sad.
However, so far, I'm not seeing anything indicating liability on behalf of LSU or it's employees. I have no idea if there were issues with the surgery that would amount to malpractice. I'm sure that will involve a lot of expert testimony assuming the suit moves forward.
It is my understanding that once anyone is represented by an attorney, parties involved cannot contact other parties. They must go through attorneys. It doesn't matter when suit was filed. Representation is enough. We don't know when that happened. We also don't know when LSU got any indication that Brooks might be making a claim against LSU etc..., but I suspect the minute that became a possibility, attorneys would have instructed LSU etc... to cease contact. That's just the way things are.
There was a fundraiser for Brooks. His number was on the helmets. It's not like LSU or CBK weren't doing things. However, that's how they presented it on TV.

Agreed. We don't know why Brooks suffered those strokes. So many variables that are not the same.

These fake LSU fans hate BK so much this is just the type of thing they will sick their teeth into. I am so tired of rantards shitting on all of our coaches.
