That's all good and fine but Mulkey created this situation last year. I can respect her position letting her players express them selves and brand themselves and make $$ but there were moments, i.e. the ring finger in the face, that could have been a teaching moments for her players but she chose to say nothing. This only fueled Reese's ego in my opinion and basically told her she could get away with anything because she was an NCAA champion and a social media darling. Hopefully she learns from this and becomes a better person and athlete but this whole "I'm from the hood and that's how we roll" BS is getting old.

she is managing a program at the highest level ever seen in collegiate women's basketball. you are unhappy because she had to suspend her star player and wont tell you why. and from that, in your selfish little brain, have conjured all of these "issues" that arent really there.

I love her fire and her protective nature over her staff and players. Such a breath of fresh air.

What do these “fans” and people like GG want? They need her to tell the world that ARs grades are shite or she popped a weed test? So her reputation takes a hit and her draft stock sinks? Her trust with her coach is violated and top recruits see this and start second guessing this program?

I’ve been sticking up for Angel this season, but I agree with the above statement. Going back to last year when she was asked about her taunting on the court (she was given multiple technicals over the season) and she responded with the above quote. I would think, “well, Angel. now is a good time to learn how to grow as a person and competitor and cut out the childish behavior. You are playing organized basketball, not street ball.”
