Mulkey is a competitor. She believes in may the best man win. Her comment about the big ol gal from SC assaulting a much smaller player came from her country roots of wanting a fair fight.

I dont disagree that her style will never ever play well with the new age media...but it is no secret that this is who she is.

Personally I could do without the attire and all that stuff, but again, that is who she is.

So, you think she should go along to get along, is that right?

Sorry, but too much capitulation by people on the right side of a situation has emboldened the people on the wrong side.

Time to stop trying to get along and simply speak the truth. Mulkey did right.

She is not bending to the politically correct norm and I welcome that...nobody says this when Dawn Staley goes off on a racism filled rant after she feels slght d in a game.

She’s too old to care about what the media, or anyone for that matter, thinks of her.

You must be new to KM. She has always been that way. She is a tough-minded woman who does not back down from controversy, just as she never has backed down from competition. She is a great spirit.

This is correct but the issue being that we havent beaten SC in 16 straight.

If we are being honest,we're lucky we avoided playing them in the tournament last year. Them losing the Semi-Finals was almost as important as us winning ours. It was a bad matchup.
I came in with the hope this year that the team would be more ready to play w SC and while both games were a lot more competitive than last years, the results the same.

Back to the recruiting---Even with the additions we made in the off season, I haven't seen anything to prove that we are developing better or are better than SC.

Youre not wrong here but that has nothing to do with this situation. Im saying lets focus on ball and not getting involved with the petty bs drama, mixing the pot between kids. Lets just figure out a way to beat them because as of right now it doesnt look like we can.

People hate coaches when they always just spout safe, generic coach speak answers. Want coaches to be more honest.

Coach says something honest. She dun fricked up, she should have just stuck to generic coach speak

What do you goobers want?

Uh. They competed with SC without a number of players available. To say we can't beat them is ridiculous. With the 2 other players that were out we definitely could beat them.

Staley had something to apologize about. Until Cardoso trucked Flau'Jae, the game was rough, and nasty but not criminal. Cardoso committed assault and therefore both she and Staley should, and did apologize. Flau'jae didn't commit assault, neither did Angel, although the hair pull needs an explanation and possible apology. Angel's "intentional foul' of flopping her arm across Cardoso's chest and neck is a post player trying to position herself for an entry pass. Had she wanted to hurt Cardoso, she would have bent her arm and caught her throat or chin with a thrown elbow. Like in the old days when that was commonplace in men's bball.

Her comments on Sunday injured no one. Other than media reliant folks likes yourself, no one else cares what she said and she was accurate in what she stated.

It's incredibly liberating when you are so comfortable in your own skin that you can speak your own opinion without worrying about the consequences.
I'd kill to be in that position, and most of you would too. THAT's where Kim is.
She could walk away tomorrow wealthy and accomplished with the knowledge she did things her way.
That's living life on your own terms.

LSU led S.Car. in that first game except for the last 3 minutes. At 2 points by 11. With Reese on the bench with fouls. LSU lost this game by 7, within 3-5 the last pre fight minutes, with 2 starters out basically & Reese hobbled. And Reese was quite adamant in her PC when she loudly said "We're not afraid of S.Car. we are not afraid of them". Don't see any dominance that scares you so much. As for CKM's attire, she's doing a friend a favor as her friend has a clothes designing business & she giving her friend a ton of free advertising.

Your asking Mulkey to keep her mouth shut?

That's like asking a Tiger to quit eating meat. It's not possible.
