Hopefully not the same firms that did the south end zone expansion and redid the west upper with the shite pipe exposed.

think that was a firm out of Dallas, the same one that the $60mil hs football stadium in Allen that had foundation problems so bad that it was unusable within one year of opening

It really should

The PMAC plays a big role in other sports and events outside the basketball program as well. One of the most heavily used venues at LSU.

I would guess it is the most used venue

I would much rather see it renovated, it’s the perfect location. And I hope they can keep the same architectural design adding seats upward (raising the roof). The PMAC is an LSU Icon.

Renovation? SMH. Just like every time the State pours millions into renovating the Superdome. You are putting lipstick on a giant pig.

They should build new track and field facilities (indoors and out doors) over on top of the LSU golf course - same with the natatorium. use that free'd up space to build a brand new PMAC - you could even keep the existing practice facilicty and tie it in (maybe even expand it to add offices LOL. then tear down the current PMAC and turn that into a cool plaza for tailgating/ concerts/ etc...

Hey now! That thing is practically brand new. I saw Buckskin Bill there when I was in the cub scouts. I'm only 59 now. I saw Elvis and the OG Globetrotters play there. It would be a shame to bulldoze it.

That concrete wall completely eliminated any airflow in the lower levels of the SE endzone and was a major f-ck up too.

I still believe we need to build another track facility across the train tracks, then use that space to build a new PMAC.

A track should be able to be built fairly quickly, but the trigger has to be pulled to put all of this in motion.

I'd do a temporary fix on the Cow Palace, tear down the the present Maravich and build a new facility.

I wouldn’t waste the money on the cow palace. If they are doing a new facility, they should move tack and natatorium across the tracks by softball or tennis facility. Then build new rectangular shaped venue on track site.
If it’s a complete gut, then they play a year downtown while work takes place

Coach Kelly made comment last night at The Oaks Meeting about upcoming renovations to the PMAC

Think it's happening
