If it's in Orlando, does that mean it will have a 9:30 pm start time? Since BYU can't play on Sundays, that would make for a very interesting 2nd half.

OK. Thanks for letting us all know!

Driving 4 hours to Houston and buying a flight to Orlando are two different things.
That's a 10 hour car ride. And arguably the furthest place they could pick for both teams.
Not to mention, flights from MSY to Orlando are extremely cheap at the moment LINK

So the game is going to start at 9:30 eastern?
Seriously?
Seriously?

Like Utah people will be traveling all the way across the country at the last minute!!
Posted on 8/28/17 at 9:48 am to bayoubengal225
there's no place to move it that's a win for all at this point, focus should be just on getting it to a venue that can accommodate and get the game in

We have one less home game this year because of the bullshite pulled last year. Now, our neutral site game is moved to a location that not everyone can get to last minute. Its bullshite.

Same place we crushed Louisville would be cool.

That's your opinion, which I respect, but I also have mine.

Nah I get that. But lets not act like its NBD to change your plans from Houston to Orlando.
I am sure there are a ton of people that were gonna make the drive. shite, imagine all the fans in the central/west part of the state that had a 2 hour drive just turn into 12.
Ones that weren't even gonna need a hotel.
I don't care where its played as long as its played. But for LSU fans in particular its logistically much much more difficult now. BYU fans were flying regardless.
ETA: We are going to Nola if its there

A new year, and we still have no spine.
Our AD doesn't get a say so in this move. I'm glad we'll have a game regardless of where it's played, but putting this on our AD is wrong, this time.

Bring it on, as long as it's played.
People are losing their homes right now, don't bitch too much about having to watch a game on tv instead of going to it.

Come on, man. It's been repeated on here.
BYU's religious stance precludes them from STARTING a game on Sunday.
Their coaches/administration have said repeatedly they will finish any game started late Saturday, should it run past midnight.

You mean the same time it was supposed to start anyway. 9:30 eastern is 8:30 central.
