The fact that this is being moved to a place where LSU fans wont be able to make it is complete bullshite. We lost the Florida home game this year with last years fiasco and our spineless AD. A new year, and we still have no spine.

Uhhhh, wut?

They are actively finding a replacement site for the game to prevent cancelation, because it's obvious why Houston is a no go. What the hell is wrong with Orlando? It's out of the way of the storm, unlike the other options, and it's dramatically easier for LSU fans to make the game than for BYU fans.

Either buy an airline ticket, drive your arse out there, or watch it in TV. I feel like some of our fans are just looking for an opportunity to bitch and play victim at this point.

I wish they would just make a call on the game and decide on a place to play it

At this point ESPN could care less about fans in the seats, they will be giving tickets away to anyone that wants to go.

It's all about having that game in a TV timeslot and they will make their money whether fans go or not.

New Orleans is too risky with this storm.

I just don't get why New Orleans doesn't get it and we are done here.

Easy flight change for BYU fans.
SMG runs both venues
Easy access for Tiger fans
Rain is not going to be a major threat for this unless a monsoon falls upon the city. Even then it's not like we'd have another Katrina in the midst of a football game.

just changed my flight. LSU fans jumping on it quickly. I think the price went up $120 in the five minutes between booking my wife's ticket and mine.

FWIW, I just looked at flights from DFW to Orlando for Friday through Sunday, and Spirit is $350. $420 to fly back Monday. If that's the case I will not be going. Turned a few hour drive into 400 bucks. I get that there's bigger issues and at least the game is being played, but for the crowd acting like it's not a big deal, well that's just not true.

I don't think anybody's saying it's not a big deal or a major change. The point is that it's not something that's being fricked up by Alleva or anybody else, it's a natural disaster and shite happens so people need to get over trying to lay blame on anybody for inconveniences with wherever the game ultimately gets moved to.
