Kyle Macy and Sean Tuohy from way back in the day. Dwayne Schintzius from not as far back in the day. Oliver Miller from even later in that day.

Dwayne Schinsus comes to mind.

Someone mentioned Bradshaw.
The thing I remember about him, and I was at the game, was when we were beating Tennessee and the crowd kept chanting “We want Bradshaw”. Finally in the last minute Bruce Pearl grabbed Bradshaw off the bench and made a spectacle of raising his arm and leading him to the scorer’s table. The crowd went wild.
That was actually very funny on Bruce Pearl’s part.

Todd Day- tall skinny guy who played for Arkansas same era as Shaq. He was accused of rape and the LSU student section reminded him of it almost every time he touched the ball. Arkansas had our number bc they had 3 NBA players (Day, Mayberry, and Oliver Miller) to our one.

I was at LSU from 1984-89, so I have Dwayne Schintzius at the top of my list too. I also remember giving the business to Doug Roth from Tennessee and Barry Goheen from Vandy. We got under Roth's skin so much that he flipped off the student section and the ref's gave him a technical. That was like throwing gas on the fire for the student section. Goheen came into the PMAC with a head of hair just a little too long for the student section. Every time he touched the ball, he heard "cut your hair". He had a new haircut for his next game.

Of course the game has changed now. But back then, there was always a 7 foot white dude playing center and everyone of them was named "Lurch" by the student section (if you are young, google Lurch from the Addams family).

Yeah, seemed like everybody in the SEC had a big white stiff on their roster in that era. LSU had its share, too. Flashback to Richard Krajewski getting minutes to give Shaq or Stanley Roberts a breather. Krajewski couldn’t play dead in a western.

RIP, but this is a good answer.

We played them the next to last game of the regular season with a chance to win the league. My greatest college memories are of sitting low in the student section when we had Jackson, Shaq, et al.

We gave Schinztius shite from the moment the game tipped off. When Florida had the game in hand with a few seconds left, Schintzius gave the students some shite right back. I recall someone throwing a tennis ball at him.

-Jimmy Dykes or Andy Kennedy (can't remember)

Then Tremont Waters and Skylar May's proceed to dunk off the back board on them as we go on our way to clinch the SEC
