We looked sloppy as frick but if they were using binos to see the grip it would explain a lot of the 2 strike hits.

Our guys went from striking out 20 in a game multiple times to I’m not sure we got 20ks in 3 games

I almost posted that, they knew location, not type of pitch. Especially on Sunday they hit HRs and all the big hits on pitches that were out of the strike zone. Like the HR from Jorden was slider below the strike zone . The HR to right was almost in the other batters box. The double to right from Jorden was in the other batters box! Go back and watch, I did because I was showing my son how their approach was to attach away, like they knew it was going to be there.

I’d be surprised if JJ had a blind spot and we had very obvious tells on this team.

If state legit was able to find tells with bare eyes and scouting we will shut that door quick.

I mentioned Sunday coaches were using binoculars and I had a 12-year-old calling me “bruh” and telling me to stop. Welcome to 4 days ago.

Man we are having trouble processing this loss. Hope the players move on better than the fans.

Wouldn't surprise me.

You had Hurd throw a beautiful breaking ball barely 6 inches above the ground and a guy with 1 HR all year golf swings it 411 feet.

State was unconscious this weekend.

Does the whining nullify last years National Championship?

Almost all catchers have the earpiece now days. The P and select fielders will have the watches for location and type of pitch. Pitchers should not tip their grip if they are doing it inside their glove. I’m not sure what they could pick up on the bino’s but they took big hacks at some really good pitches and had a lot of success.

We're not questioning the catchers. Batters are not allowed to have earpieces in.

It was very fishy that they hit .500 across 3 games against what was statistically one of the top 5 pitching staffs in the country. Also the fact that they knew exactly where almost every pitch was I don’t remember them getting fooled completely one time all weekend.

How would they steal our signs if we were sending them in via smart watch?

Little thing called hacking. Wireless connectivity without proper protection is easier to intercept and hack than physical signals.

They were all over our pitches. I don’t think we were too predictable as it seemed we called the games the opposite of how we had been calling them. I wonder if the binos were catching the watch on a pitching hand or a fielder.

It looked to be a flukey as frick weekend.

I originally thought that they were just looking into our bullpen and seeing who was up and how they were doing.

It is possible that they were reading the wrist of an infielder, but I find it highly improbable to read the wrist and then relay that info to the batter standing in the box before the pitcher unloads a pitch. Pitchers in general are working faster with the pitch clock in place and even more so with LSU guys not wasting any time quick pitching. Is it possible sure it is. They sure hit the ball last weekend and that is a fact.
