They talked about this tonight on Mik’d up. They were questioning it and said one fell out of a players ear. They didn’t know exactly what they were being used for.
Maybe getting pitch by pitch help from the dugout? If so, can this be legal?

Anyone hear about or see this?
I searched on the site and didn’t see it.

They weren’t using it as an excuse for losing, they just hadn’t seen these before and thought it was odd.

They were to block out the cowbell noise.

They had ear pieces in to keep from hearing LSU fans whine like babies

Coaches can talk to them, if necessary,

Between this and the binos plus Lemonis being on a extremely hot seat it could be something

I said it during and after these games. I, personally, have never seen a college baseball team be so successful with two outs or with men on. I said that it seemed like they knew what the pitch call was. Either we need to do a better job analyzing hitting tendencies or our pitchers missed their spot 40 or so times a game. And LSU needed to check their electronics security. I didn’t know States players were wearing earbuds. Geez I hate to think what that could mean. If they are doing something dodgy, they’ll get caught because they will keep doing it until they are.

They were all over our pitches. I don’t think we were too predictable as it seemed we called the games the opposite of how we had been calling them. I wonder if the binos were catching the watch on a pitching hand or a fielder.

It looked to be a flukey as frick weekend.

No idea if this is true. I seriously doubt it is.

But, they hit the ball like they knew what was coming.

Hypothetically, if it were true, it would be a huge scandal.

I don’t know if it was the LSU/State game or another, but the announcers were talking about the outfielders having the “watches” that the catchers have to know what pitches were coming.

you're allowed a certain number of players on the field to wear those.

Someone will end up taking advantage of all this technology that’s on the field. Idk if State did, but it’ll end up happening, if it hasn’t already.

How would they steal our signs if we were sending them in via smart watch?

the binos

Not insinuating anything but, unless the guy was looking for a date in the stands with the binoculars while their team was batting, why were they even in the dugout?

Maybe to see down to the bullpen for who was warming?

I think they had shots of him using them even with no one up in the pen.

The only reason to have them would be see who we have warming.

I think it's some of that artificial intelligence stuff... any intelligence from Mississippi State has to be artificial.

It's almost like the MSU scouts mapped out what pitches were coming based on each pitchers grip or setup before the pitch.

I did notice this at one point. I don't remember the day it was, but I do remember seeing this happen at one point.

Also, I heard something about someone having binoculars (I believe this was from the radio cast).

I am NOT saying this is why we lost or even saying Moo state was cheating btw, we looked very sloppy all weekend. All I'm saying, is I did notice what Mikey and them were talking about.
