re: 4* 2027 QB Peyton Houston commits to LSU!!

I think he runs less in collage. Chis Leak, In my option. Seen him play for a long time. Also, not saying he is 6’ but closer to 5’11” than 10”.

I’m sorry but that is not a fact. I’m not telling u that I know where he is going, but if you think he is close at all to calling LSU home, you don’t know the family at All! You should not call your opinions “Facts”. That just causes people to get excited and then let down, if you are wrong. Then fans are mad because somebody told them, the kid was a lock. My Opinion is he does not show up at LSU. I could be wrong. “ You never know”, that’s a Quote/Fact!
Arkansas has never won anything in baseball and a lot of them act just like it.

Been to a series there when we weren’t very good. Beautiful stadium, well supported. That being said, they have never won anything in baseball and a lot of them act just like it. Low baseball IQ. They remind me of the LV Raiders, biggest “look at me fans” in collage baseball. Can’t just watch a game, have to be look at me, at every insignificant thing that happens. Me and my wife have been to almost every park in the sec, even gay&m, and no one is as childish as the hogs.

Tipping pitches

I have not watch closely, but the way they are barreling him up and taking pitches, makes me believe something‘s up.
re: It’s hard with just four pitchers
Posted by smashworth on 4/27/25 at 8:57 am to Quatre Pot
I “Think” we recruit pitchers similar to mlb, but they can put them in minors forever, as long as they have potential. We have pitchers with great potential and u can’t teach 98mph but they aren’t pitchers. Not yet anyway. LSU doesn’t have time to develop because of transfer portal and the ones we got in portal weren’t strike throws either, besides one. Got to have strike throwers first.

My brother-in-law died after getting dehydrated at the UCLA game. It’s a big issue , to some.
re: A few thoughts about Tiger BB with 18 to go

Problem with Larson, is he has not adjusted his approach. Teams know if they pitch him away, he will not hit. Chases away at a high rate. Teams made this adjustment the 2nd half of last season, that’s why his production faded. I know what he did in summer ball. That is different type of ball, more like showcase ball.
re: Just curious. Do we really believe Guidry is going to pitch this year?

Also, could have foraminotomy but has had neither, so at this point it’s just time and could get better or worse.

I spoke to his younger bother about it. It's a bulging disk, he had a steroid injection, around the nerve, a few weeks ago. It's a bad sign that he isn't back, after the injection.

You are so right. His coaching caused us to turn the ball over on 4 out of 5 drives and miss tackles that lead to 5 scoring drives for them in a row. If you want to blame him for not trying to score before half, I’m in. If you want to blame Sloan for the having zero imagination in the running game or being very predictable, I’m in.

I can tell. You would have to have played and coached high school and college, for that to be true. Just another game day, hack.

O, I forgot, just follow the ball and then gripe and cuss like you know football. Unprecedented ignorance on this board about Football.
Key to winning.

Score more points, I know. To do that Nuss must be a threat to run. We are running the spread(single wing), with a pro style QB. OC has not built offense around QB. This is an offense built for JD, not Nuss. He needs about 30 yards rushing, for a couple first downs, to open this offense and running game up. Extreme disadvantage to run spread and not have a running qb. This is why we struggle to run the ball.
re: I went to Calvary Academy in Shreveport last night. Mainly to watch James Simon, RB
Posted by smashworth on 9/13/24 at 11:26 pm to Gumpsbleaux
I’ve watched him every game for years, and tonight. He is good at most things but not great at any, imo. I believe he is a sec WR. 9 for Neville is good down hill runner but not better than JS. Real team? Looked pretty even and without missed extra points and a game changing call, things could have been different. Very good game, could have gone either way.

WR at next level. Over rated at RB.
re: Biggest mistake of the game
Posted by smashworth on 6/4/24 at 6:46 pm to Broski
They did not score on the Brown mistake. Jump still had to allow the hit to bring the winning run home. We had runners in scoring position also, and did NOT hit.
James Simon

May have already been said, but he is commiting 2mro. Im thinking A$M. This isn't new, I would like to have him, but I don't think he is a differace maker, unless he moves to slot or DB.
