I mean that would be one big reason yes. Thune is a moderate Democrat and he’ll be taken down when he’s up for reelection. Then he’ll write a book called “defending democracy” then he’ll be a regular contributor on MSNOW where they will kiss his arse because he stood up to Trump.

Is Miller saying the elections will not be safe or secure? It is my understanding DHS is heavily involved as well as USPS internal security in facilitating a more secure election.

No parliamentarian in any legislative body in the democratic world purposefully puts up meaningful legislation that they don’t have the votes to pass.
Doing so would only hurt the GOP.

Back in the day, LEADERS could get the votes if they wanted. Thune is a stooge wearing the GOP uniform, but he plays for a team that couldn't give a cold shite about what's good for us or the U.S.

He didn’t have 60 votes, or the 51 required to kill the filibuster.
So no—did not and does not have the votes. Even if every GOP senator supports SAVE on the merits, there aren’t 51 of them willing to get to that vote by killing the filibuster.
