I don't subscribe to all the Miles/ favorite QB theories.
He plays who he believes to be the best QB.
Clearly he has not always developed good passing QB's, although he has had some productive ones.
As best I can tell 1) we have basically two QBs on the whole squad capable of playing on Saturdays in the SEC, 2) neither look very effective 3) AJ is not by any means stellar but makes few mistakes and 4) Harris, while more talented, is (still) underachieving.
If true, nothing much has changed.

Yeah 2010 was so frustrating. Anyone with a brain could see that JJ lowered his eyes from down the field when the pocket got muddy and we rarely rolled him out or put him in shotgun on 1st down. We basically started every series on 2nd &10.

True, although their QB play for 2014 was much better than average. The problem is we don't adjust our offense to our QB's talents (or lack of) until we have 2/3 losses.

The question is not whether Miles will start the best qb. He will start the qb that he feels will best execute the offense he feels is needed to win a NC. The real question is whether the offense he wants to run is the right one to win a NC. To date the only offense under Miles to accomplish that was directed by Gary Crowton, who most would say has a philosophy almost 180 from Miles during his LSU tenure.

It's going to be Jennings. But people don't be surprised if McMillan turns out to be the best option next year.

This. I will reserve judgement until then. Although last year I was convinced BH would win the job. I will believe AJ improves when I see it. It is my belief at this point that he is not an sec caliber QB and will continue to struggle. I do believe , however, if he starts its because the coaches think he is the best option which doesn't bode well for the coming season.

calling anything JJ did well is wrong. JJ played better in 09 and 11 than he did in 10. It was almost impossible to play worse than he did in 10 but Jennings actually managed that last year. Our qb play has been far from well most of the time. Anything we have done well lately is usually just relative to how bad our qb play has been for a while.

Jefferson played "well" in like 3 games in 2011. Georgia and alabama will be his lasting legacy though.

He talked up Harris after the first scrimmage and Jennings after the second. So....?
