They know that they need Harris in order to win a championship, at least until Franks and Haskins (
) come

Jeez. Here we go again. We're screwed.

If Jennings looked good in the scrimmage, Thank God. I don't know why it would be perceived negatively by anyone.
Heaven forbid players improve. Even if Harris becomes the starter, when has LSU not needed another qb? Even under saban we couldn't make it every season with one guy.

Bla, bla same ole same ole. Hardheaded Les will do exactly what he wants no necessarily what is best.

I would definitely consider accuracy an indication of a physical tool.
Meh. I personally feel that accuracy is an acquired tool and not innate, like arm strength.. Accuracy can improve a great deal as chemistry with WRs improves, arm strength not so much.

t may be a battle that will be fought until the season opener against McNeese State, but during Saturday’s 130-play scrimmage, LSU junior quarterback Anthony Jennings won the afternoon over sophomore Brandon Harris.
“At quarterback, I think both guys are continuing to come, but I think today Jennings probably looked just a little bit more productive overall,” LSU coach Les Miles said during his post-scrimmage news conference.
Miles said Jennings was “pretty crisp with his passes,” noting the junior tossed a couple of touchdown throws.
The tone was a tad different when referring to Harris.
Though Miles said Harris made plays with both his legs and his arm, he said Jennings had the more productive day under center.
“When you get to the film and rotate guys, you wonder if the route was exactly the way it was supposed to be, do we have any protection issue? … all those pieces that you put together once you get film study,” Miles said. “I think (Harris is) more capable than what he showed today.”
After listening to Miles for several years now, it should be clear that this was essentially an announcement that AJ is and will remain the started.
BH will see less snaps this year than he did last year.

Look out 55% completions !
That would be a significant improvement.

This thread is irrelevant... Miles is starting AJ no matter what... LSU fans better get used to the same kind of thing as last year... Miles is real good at saying what HE thinks you want to hear....

I cant help but be amused when I see Jennings portrayed as a QB who sucks and Harris portrayed as the Savior for LSU football. I keep trying to figure out what I missed from our QB play last yr. to have some seeing such a vast difference between the 2 guys play
well outside the Auburn game
He completely performed Jennings in the New mExico State game and Mississippi game.
I would say they played equally poor in the Auburn Game, and then Harris never got any real chances after that.
There was an on the field difference in 2/3 games where Harris got meaningful playing time.

In 2015,
Texas A&M will suck
Auburn will suck early in the year
Miss St will suck
Florida will suck
USCe will suck
LSU will go 4-0 OOC
That's 9 wins already... Winning at least one of Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Alabama isn't a leap of faith.

I don't see Jennings as a 60%, 2,500 yard 25 TD guy, ever His intermediate throws just aren't close to being SEC caliber.
Maybe he can improve, I don't know. I certainly don't think spring practice will tell us a whole lot

I am expecting BOTH AJ and BH to improve for the 2015 season. Whether that improvement is enough to get our passing game to improve markedly, I do not know. But I am willing to bet our passing game does two things in 2015: (1) average more yards per game than in 2014, and (2) have a higher completion average as compared to 2014. Our young receivers, who were not exactly stellar in 2014, should also improve.
I am looking forward to 2015 to see how it all plays out.

If he can get to 58% 2000 yards and 15 TDs (while minimizing TOs), with our OL, RB corps, and defense, all our preseason goals are attainable.
Same goes for either QB.

Neither will 2015.
Miss state lost damn near their entire team.
Miss st lost starter: 3 olineman, 2 wr,rb, 3 dlineman, best lb, 3 secondary players.
All of those were starters.
Ole miss will Ole miss.
And arky isnt winning in DV. They have 1 win in DV since 96.
