maybe they move Neal to 2B now
There have been only 4 left handed second baseman’s in mlb since 1950. I know this is college ball but I don’t see it.

You think he was catching as a left hander don’t you?

This may come as a complete shock to you, but some players throw right and bat left. Brady Neal is one of those.

It doesn’t need to be retired.

It shouldn’t have to be an every year deal. Save it until someone shows up worthy to wear it. Same as #7 in football.

I don’t care if it’s a decade until we see it again but when we see it we should know what it means.

It should just go back in rotation. Any player worth a damn is always going to want a single digit number and most of the time they’ll end up being good.

Pretty sure Jay said in a CWS postgame that he wouldn’t be surprised if Milazzo ended up on the LSU staff at some point.

Why, because I was wrong about something? I get shite wrong all the time. I’ll just take correction and move forward with my life if that’s okay.

Yessir, including HOFer Jacob Nelson “Nellie” Fox, American League MVP in 1959. Led the league in fewest strikeouts 13 times (struck out about 2% of the time).

want Travinksi to get more than 100 at bats, but he wasn't reliable behind the plate.

Because he had a few passed balls means he wasn't realiable? He also had a rib injury he was playing through.

He was not a very good defensive catcher prior to the rib injury. Nobody is saying he cannot improve, but everyone is saying Milazzo is better behind the plate, probably Neal too.

Neal catches weekends. Milazzo midweeks and end of weekend games with a lead. Travinski DH.
