I've heard from a few people that's been around Milam that he is a huge tool.
Don't shoot the messenger, I don't know the kid.
I know a few kids that are good friends with a few of the current baseball players and supposedly they can't stand being around him.
Again, all hearsay.

I enjoy LSU everything. However.....The football literally pays for EVERY other sport on that campus. EVERY SINGLE SPORT. Besides football operates in a deficit. Football is the only self-sustaining program in the entire athletic department and contributes to the funding of all the other sports. Because the federal government FORCES them to.
They may want to kiss the ring and watch their mouths. Especially with how they played last year. They were absolutely horrible. At least the football team has the "year 1" and "BK dumpster fire cleanup" excuses. They don't have any excuses. They just sucked.......

I've never read the books. But the simple, limited research i've done on the subject with what's available online suggests different.
Mens BBall operates in a 7 million dollar deficit
Womens BBall operates in a 8 million dollar deficit
Gynmastics operates in a 3 million dollar deficit
Baseball operates in a 1 million dollar deficit
I couldn't find a number on Softball but the word they used was "significant"
Then you have all the other money drains. Track and Field, Swimming, Volleyball, Soccer, Golf, Tennis etc. They're all operating in a deficit.
The 26 million number you saw floating around was because of all of the above. The revenue generating machine is the football program. They're generating like 20 million dollars a game from all the revenue sources that come with it. LSU FOOTBALL had a 66.8 million dollar surplus in revenue in 2025.....With BK at the helm....Imagine the revenue if LK starts actually being dominant. Theres like a 8-10k seat wait list on season tickets if I don't recall.
