There ain't no way that Walker would leak this unless he was told to. If he was told to leak it I'd doubt that Bianco is the guy that we really want. That doesn't mean we won't end up with bottom of the barrel Bianco, but I think it certainly means we are looking somewhere else right now.

Sounds very similar to when they leaked that Pat Casey was in Baton Rouge to gauge how the fan base felt about it

Regardless of if he truly thinks it’s a decent hire, there is no way Scott can think hiring a coach that will have an 80% disapproval rating from day one is the best option lol.

I hope they grill him on his post-season disappointments. Why does it happen so often for his teams. And, if given the job, what will he do differently. If he can’t do a true self-assessment then he shouldn’t be hired. Again, Bianco is a great regular season coach and recruits top talent. That isn’t a concern. But, for all he has done, he has only gotten to Omaha once at OM.

Honestly I don't have a fricking clue....but when was the last time a former player leaked a coaching hire to the media before it was announced????
I don't think it happened with Mulkey, Wade, or O that I can recall. I guess it is possible that guys like Todd Walker and Skip still have that much pull over the baseball program, but that is pretty sad if it is the case.

I believe Mike Bianco said the reason neither of his sons went to Ole Miss is because he didn’t want to coach them and they also didn’t want to play for him because it creates a conflict of interest... hopefully still holds that opinion
