The ball pops. I just hope he is learning to read defenses.

I agree. He looked comfortable and he had a good grasp of the offense. He has a live arm. Can work on the deep ball but has a skill set. And no he shouldn’t start at Ole Miss but I have confidence in him if he ends up having to sub for an injured Nuss. And this helps build confidence with his teammates who’s is more important.

You can't throw past 25.

Montana was deadly within 25 yards while Elway made the highlight plays.

Did you watch his highlights from last season?

The deep ball is probably the best part of his game lol

Must've took a nice lump sum to spend a yr being backup. Could've start elsewhere and play 12 games.

I was quite impressed. He was doing everything that Nuss can do, but only better. CBK should consider putting him in relief if LSU gets in a rut at Ole Miss.

Yes he can. Go watch clips from Miss St. it’s a ton of deep balls.

He can throw better than I thought and I know he can run the ball. I would like him to a series or two every game if possible or get to come in on short yardage situations on packages

He’s like if Travis Hunter played only on offense and was a quarterback

He definitely throws a pretty ball and seemed to be decisive tonight.
I also think his skill set fits what the coaches want to do with the offense.
I hope that he stays healthy and stays at LSU.
I like the thought of him starting at QB next year.
He played well tonight, completing a few “3rd and longs” and a couple 4th downs too, I believe.

I’d rather he be able to read a defense and throw accurately for 20.

A big arm is the most overrated quality of a successful Quarterback
