Men’s tennis makes two huge signings

23 year old from Belarus and 22 year old from Egypt. Both have UTRs above 13.6 and have had ATP rankings near the top 600.

Yeah no problem lol. This is actually pretty common for tennis. Most top teams bring in really good international players, more than American players. So LSU is definitely not alone in this in tennis, but might be more unique in basketball.
So basketball, starting to do it, actually just mirrors what tennis has been doing for a long time.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think it was explained that since the international students can't get NIL, they are more than happy to just take a full-ride scholarship. Ya know, kinda like how it used to be for everyone...

Go watch Men and Women's LSU tennis. very skilled players who have trained extensively for over a decade. Thousands of hours honing their skill. Great Athletes. Intense competetion. Great tennis venue at LSU. Fast paced and fun. Go get em Tigers

They definitely get NIL money in some way though. Because a lot of international tennis players were in the transfer portal this year looking for larger pay days.
Like Auburn's #1 player from Tajikistan comes from a poor family, so he wanted to get as much NIL money as he could and Texas A&M was willing to pay a lot so he went there

I wonder how they got around that? We had an Australian WBB player a couple years ago who actually filed a suit because she couldn't get any NIL, but I dont know what became of it
