Its really not irrelevant and time will tell. If Clemson is bad then LSU did what any good team should do. If Clemson is good then LSU is great to elite.

You have to understand what Clemson was. They played for the natty what, 4 times in the last 10 years amd won 2. They've never lost that bad under Dabo. It's a big deal.

Clemson is still a very talented team and just missed the AP top 25. Dabo is also the only active coach apart from Kirby to have 2 championships. We stomped the shite out of them and had our third string playing by the end of the game.
Ole Miss gets to claim a ranked win (24) after winning on a FG in the last minute of the game. It’s an insane double standard.

The difference between our game and those other games is everyone expected OSU, Texas etc to roll those opponents.
NOBODY expected LSU to roll Clemson like we did, so they will ask if Clemson is that bad, because there’s no other explanation for LSU making them look like a group of 6 school.
