One of two things have to happen.

1 - LSU needs to start winning consistently.

2- Wade coached teams have to stop winning consistently.

Number two damn sure isn't going to happen. Number one doesn't look like it's in the future either.

All the McMen get furious when Will Wade is mentioned. Yet as soon as LSU wins a basketball game, they run to the board to weirdly try to shove it in Wade's face.

OP is an idiot (and alter) trying to stir up shite. LSU basketball fans want the comparisons to stop and just want to support the team we have, regardless of the coach. All others have an ulterior agenda.

Yeah, OP has 3 posts in a year. He's just trolling with the easiest bait around, Will Wade.

The shite has been discussed ad nauseam, it serves absolutely no purpose now.

You're a fricking idiot if you think McMahon inherited anything close to what Wade had his first year. The entire team jetted when Wade left. Wade cucks are something else.

McMahon also has the benefit of open transfers.

That makes up for the roster differences.

Wades gone. No use in continuing this

McMahon needed this win and frankly needs another solid win to not be on the hot seat next season

Wade is the better coach imo, but if you’re being honest you admit that he didn’t inherit much when he got to LSU.

Beating UK on Wednesday would be a great start.

Until McMahon surpasses Wade's records, he will be eclipsed by Wade's shadow in many lsu fans eyes.

I know for a fact the new coaching staff didn’t like the locker room culture when they arrived. Wade also refused to help LSU and tell us which players he paid. Thus we gutted the roster

He also won bigly at Chattanooga, who has done virtually nothing before OR after WADE.

He's the best coach in the HISTORY of two programs, and if he'd had 25 years at LSU like Dale (who I LOVED growing up by the way), he'd be the best at three. And he's only 41. He has plenty of time to win a title when a power 5 program hires him.

At the end of year 2 and it’s all Wade’s fault still…

That’s actually untrue, 3 players ultimately stayed. Turning over 9 players used to be unheard of, but in this era it’s not uncommon. Pretty sure Wade did it this year at McNeese.

And water is wet. EVERY TOP PLAYER IS BOUGHT ILLEGALLY. If you want a boy scout as your coach, don't expect to win ANYTHING of significance.

They will stop as soon as McMahon does as well or better than Wade at LSU.

If he can't, it needs to never be forgotten how our administration didn't run interference for a winning coach in one of the two major sports like schools with balls do.

If most schools played by the rules, then yes, can his arse. Anyone with a functioning brain knows that's not how the game is played. It's not about being proud of breaking the rules. It's about doing what your competition is doing to STAY COMPETITIVE. Most of the allegations in the NOA went unproven by the way.

This ain't Japanese arithmetic homie.

I loved Wade. He brought excitement. Teams were fun to watch. He also knew how work up a crowd (timeout at the end of the ULL game).

I also want to see the program succeed. I've seen LSU win multiple football and Baseball NC's in my lifetime. I just want to see them win a basketball NC, considering its the best post season in all of sports.

I like the fight the team shows. But in order for McMahon to make this program a contender year in and year out, he absolutely has to recruit at the high school level better. He is averaging 2 hs recruits a year. We still don't have a great base to build around. He needs a legitimate class with 4-5 guys to get the ball rolling.

Next year is lining up to be another year that he will have to be heavily reliant on the portal

But McMahon didn’t inherit a team. He came here with 0 players. 1 eventually came back

This right here is what we are tired of. Loved Wade but he’s gone. But the nut jobs that want McMahon y to fail so they can stick it to Woodward are just as bad. They are losers in life. You can love Wade and still support McMahon and LSU. He is a good coach. Just because a team CAN turn it around in 2 years doesn’t mean it SHOULD. Some coaches may take 3. Some 4. So what? As long as they do it I don’t care. This team is 4-5 plays away from being 8-4 in SEC. That means you are close. True bball fans see this. McMahon haters don’t. Still need to build on this win and beating KY will help. See where we end up at end of year and build from there. All the rest of the noise is just that. Noise.

I can’t wait until next year when we get to look forward to 1-2 more decent wins and no tournament again!
