South Carolina has a net ranking of 57.

McNeese is 52.

How is that possible Mr Q1?

but but but but you said McNeese would fall way down the net rankings once conference play started? Did General Wade make the net rankings a strong arse offer?

Nah I said once they lose to a Q4 team. Hope they don’t lose another.
Btw LSU beating SC yesterday helped McNeese move up in NET. I think what’s helped McNeese the most is getting a Q1 win against VCU, but they’re barely hanging on at 70. McNeese will probably drop again if that goes back to a Q2 win.

But all of this doesn’t really matter. McNeese will have to win Southland tourney to get in

Totally agree! They’re playing some of their best basketball the last 2 games. The loss in Hammond might have came at the right time.

So losing an in conference game is now similar to LSU losing to a Southland conference team.
My how the mighty have fallen.
I was afraid that would happen but I never expected it to be this quickly.

A&M, @ UGA, @ Florida-- moral victories

@ Auburn, @ Alabama, @ Tenn, Alabama-- good efforts by a team which didn't quite match up to its opponents

So all seven losses this year bear no resemblance to last year's blowouts.

It’s called rebuilding a team (Wade’s fault). Why do you think that would happen later rather than sooner?

It’s funny people like you only bring up 1 bad loss in their 2nd game of the season & ignore that they just beat the #11 ranked team on the road.

In year 2 in the transfer portal era, it’s still Wade’s fault. Hahaha! Funny Wade doesn’t need those excuses in year 1 under nearly identical situation (keeping in mind he built his roster before the IARP ruling came down).

In the Southland, which is not known for being a good basketball conference, at a school that is known for being at the bottom tier of that shitty conference. You are trying to downplay it, but you are actually helping the other sides points. You think it's easy to pull kids into McNeese? The fact that he has done what he has in year 1 proves a whole lot.

Just about everybody gave McMahon a completely free pass year 1. It was a bad situation, with still unknowns, and a total overall. We are almost through year 2 now. The "it's Will Wade's fault" excuse is over.

Everything will always be Wade's fault to these people. They argue in complete circles, and just move the goal post wherever they need them.

But let's LSU beat an incredibly overrated SC team, which is a solid win for LSU btw. I don't want to downplay it being a great thing that they went on the road and grabbed a win. It doesn't warrant a damn McMahon vs Wade thread though.

Now explain how Wade goes to a University that has no positive basketball tradition. Only one returning player. He is leading his conference in his first year.
Wade's team beats Nicholls State by 27 points. Nichols beat Mac's LSU team by 2 points.
Mac inherited three players from Wade's final team.

Why are you changing the subject?

There are many possible answers to that question.

It's the most obvious. Of course, it didn't address my post at all.
