Lol He would be fourth here
He did us a favor. That’s not what he
intended but that’s how it worked out. He’s taking a roster spot at TAM and freed up a spot here. Any one of the guys in our QB room is a better fit for this staff.

currently 3rd string
There must only be 3 in camp. He sucks, always has. I don't care if he .are a few throws here and there, qb's are supposed to do that. But he sucked from jump and kills the offensive tempo

He has no ceiling
“He is what he is” is what we’ve said since his freshman year

There were plenty of people here in August 2021 who thought Max was a good QB. Remember that when you read QB discussions for 2022.
It's always the numbers & stats posters with this bullshite. They did it for Brennan too despite the obvious on field flaws.

I hope skulldrag A&M into the dirt yearly.

The highlight of his career was beating his current team.
That final throw to Jenkins to win the game was bar none the best pass I've ever seen him make.

He was a better than Finley so there’s that

He ultimately did us a favor. If he’s still here then Jayden Daniels most likely never comes and he’s in the mix to be our starter again because Kelly likes a guy with experience and mobility. While he’s not Daniels he’s also not as slow as Brennan so we might have had another year of Max. If I had to choose between Max and Daniels it’s Daniels because he at least has one elite trait in his mobility. Max is what he is really. He’s a smart protector of the ball who does hold it too long at times but he isn’t an NFL caliber player. He’s a lower power 5 or group of 5 starter or a solid backup on a playoff level team.

He transferred because his brother was going to 8&4.
I'm liking Mason Taylor better than Jake Johnson anyway, LSU did fine on this.

Jason Taylor’s son, if we want to talk about pedigree

He’s also Zach Thomas’s nephew. The kid was born to play.

He would be the same here. He never beat out Myles

Weigman will be the starter by the 6-7th game. Kid has the physical talent and appears to also have the intangibles needed to be a good QB in the SEC. Aggies will be tough to beat in 23 & 24.

I was hoping he was going to be the best A&M had.

Yeah I was really looking forward to our defense getting to see him on the field.
