[quote It was damn loud. I think Hester for the winning TD on 4th against Florida was louder[/quote]
I was there for both. It might have been louder for that one play vs. UGA because it was unexpected. Against UF, the volume was sustained for a longer amount of time. That UF game wore me out.

We were in the north end zone front row, facing the play. I didn’t think he could get to the ball! The sound was deafening and heavy!

the Florida game. Kinda ironic.
This has to be a joke? The Florida game in 2003 was such a terrible/miserable game. We got screwed by the refs in that game and just never got anything going on offense. Leak did just enough to win it for Florida.

I was there in the South Endzone. I remember yelling that Skyler was open as Mauck was rolling out.
It really was surreal to experience in person.

I was there and it was a different from any other game I've been to. It was crazy because after UGA scored on a 93yd screen, the entire student section just got loud and you could see the team get krunk again and then Mauck to Skylar just set that shite off late in the game. I was soaked from all the drinks thrown and the guy in front of us got pinged by a turkey leg. It was my favorite moment in Tiger Stadium and my ears were ringing until the next day.

185lb Skylar in ‘03 >>>> 205lb Skylar in ‘04

I played against him in high school. The fastest player I ever saw on the field. He had next level speed.

After the 93 yard screen pass TD by UGA during the timeout the crowd just refused to let the Tigers lose. It start very slowly and built a chant of LSU LSU LSU. Normally the crowd sits back after deflating play like that and waits for something big to happen but this was as if the crowd told the team….not this time. We the fans got you. Most magical day game moment in Tiger Stadium. Mark Richt even commented about it in post game saying he never seen anything like it. There is also a even better pic taken looking toward the LSU sideline where Skylar and a State Trooper in the background on the sideline are both tracking the flight of the ball right before he catches it.

That was my favorite moment in Death Valley. UGA scored late and the crowd instead of sitting or leaving broke out in an amazing LSU LSU LSU LSU chant. I ended up 3 rows from my seat after jumping in the air and high-fiving/hugging everyone around me.

Was there, and can confirm - one of the loudest moments I’ve witnessed in TS.

The Mauck fumble and Tyson Browning 93-yd TD with under 5 mins to play really sucked the wind out of the stadium.
No it didn’t. The crowd chanting LSU right after that TD proved it. It would have sucked the wind out of the stadium today, but it didn’t that day

I disagree. Immediately after the Ga. TD the stadium erupted with L-S-U! Saban said it gave him the chills to hear the crowd respond like that.

I will say this it was probably the only time the crowd has changed the momentum in the game. Right before that when UGA tied the game at 10 instead of the crowd going silent everyone instead started chanting LSU. It changed the game completely.

Watched it on the Jumbotron. We sat field level behind the lsu bench. Needless to say, it’s not easy trying to watch from field level through the Andrew Whitworths, Marquise Hills of the world. Could only see from 30 yrs line to south end zone. Took 2 of my UGA buddies with me. They said it’s the loudest thing they’ve ever heard. Hard arse, physical game. A lot of studs on both sides. Was THE loudest game I’ve ever been to. Great Fkin weekend.

Was in the student section when he scored that TD right in front of us. Place went nuts.
FL 2007 was louder sustained though. The Byrd TD against Auburn in 07 was also a loud one. And the blocked FG by RJF against Bama in 2008.
