I’m comfortable enough knowing that most people don’t take a step back in careers especially since the current mentioned position isn’t vacant.

Would love that, but Elko has to be the favorite with how he’s done at Duke

Is Aranda a mediocre defensive coach with mediocre players

His D was pretty damn good with not a ton of talent at Wisconsin.

If House is hired away and Aranda comes back, I’m streaking at the first home game after while carrying a giant tigerdroppings flag.

I got $100 on your bail.

House is solid DC. You guys are ruthless. Let the season play out.

We’re literally in the 100+‘s on many metrics
We don't have the talent to be a dominant defense. Sure, we have a few players- but they're all new.

Wingo- portal transfer last year
Perkins- true freshman last year
Smith- hurt in the first half of the first game last year, hasn't returned to form
Jefferson- portal transfer this year
Speights- portal transfer this year, has an injury

Secondary was all new last year, mostly portal guys. And they're all gone now, except Burns. Another round of portal guys this year. These transfers have been basically average generic college depth. One guy with stats, Chestnut, is undersized and just can not play with big WRs. One guy with great potential is inexperienced and not that mature (Harris), or else he'd probably still be at A&M.

All you guys screaming that we need to change schemes, remember what Pelini said to the media in midseason 2020: we don't have the players to fit the scheme we're running. He fricking told reporters that, clearly saying that if it were his call, we wouldn't be running that scheme. Orgeron insisted on doing that, wanted his damn 4-3 man scheme.

Kelly at least seems to listen to House, and LSU runs what it can. They do their best to hide the holes out there, which are still numerous. We do have good young guys in the pipeline, but they take time.

Short answer, changing coordinators won't help right now. We need time to restock.

I'm ok with DVs, but explain how anything I said is incorrect. Narduzzi IS a better fit. Spent his career in the Midwest, was DC at MSU!

Aranda isn't coming back to LSU as DC. If he gets fired from Baylor, he'll most likely take an analyst job or a HC job at a smaller school. Also, sequels are very rarely as good as or better than the originals. Fast and Furious proved that time and again.

You can't tell some of these idiots here anything that would include common sense or logic. The only answer they'll accept is fire the coach or play the backup.
