But I was told earlier by someone In The Know that Flynn was bad. How can this be?

saw that too....didn't have time to respond. it amazes me how little about football so many LSU fans understand. Matt was one heck of a college qb and he has persevered through just about every wrong place/wrong time scenerio known to man. I am happy for him and gratified that so many LSU fans still respect and support him.

geaux Matt.

Anyone got a gif of Matt Flynn's head on Damon's body? I saw it in a thread the other day.

I felt bad for Matt after he bounced from Seattle to Oakland and then out, but he has to be the luckiest guy in the NFL. He makes some good money as a back up in GB (Ching!). He has a phenomenal game and punches his ticket and a fat pay day to head to Seattle (Cha-ching!). Russell Wilson beats him out, so he heads to Oakland for another big pay day (Ching!). THEN, he loses the job to Pryor, which was a blessing because that o-line would have gotten him killed, and ends up right back where he started playing back-up in Green Bay and once again having success.

It's good to see him have success on the field again!

going back to Green Bay was the best thing for him

He knows the system there and isn't being put into the starting position to be the fall guy on a bad team. Isn't his elbow still dinged up anyway? I was thinking he might shut things down for the season and have surgery before the Packers picked him up again.

Flynn accomplished something Farve and Rogers were never able to do. Beat Dallas in Dallas.

Someday, people will look at the Greenbay record books and go, "I've heard of Farve, Starr, and Rodgers, but who is this Matt Flynn guy who holds records for biggest comeback and most touchdown passes?"

Great job, Matt Flynn! ForeverLSU

I'll always remember his interview, after the BCS Championship game, expressing his love for LSU. He is a heck of an ambassador for the Tigers.

Should have been 5. That fade pass to the corner prior to the Lacy run for the go ahead touchdown was not overthrown. The receiver studder stepped and didn't get deep enough to the corner where it was thrown perfectly.
