Anyone got a comp for all 12 games?
The whole lsu nation is breathing a prayer of thanks for not falling for the hype of an unproven coach. Napier will get better, but UF won’t be relevant for a while. But BK came ready to play and earn his $100M.

The problem with O is that he wants excellence but does not seem to know how to get us there. Remember when Brady made all the WRs catch 10,000 balls in 2019? Crazy stuff like that. We are not sharp and don’t act hungry.
I think 11-1, with Bama being the one loss. We will beat UF, TAM, OleMiss, and Auburn in the SEC.

UCLA? Haha.
McNeese - ARE WE SERIOUSLY PLAYING McNeese?!?
Central Mich - (yawn)
Miss St - we will shut them down. Out for vengeance.
UK - Zzzz
Arkansas - please
ULM - ummm...by like 40 points

This schedule is very generous IF we get our act together. 11-1. Who else would we lose to with this schedule and this talent?

Dang. I hate Alabama so much.

Which of the four do y’all think will transfer? With good coaching and reps, either of the three current guys could start D1 somewhere. I just don’t know about Nussmeier yet, but he’s def got talent. Geaux!

This is the deepest QB room we may well have ever had. But someone is transferring. 4 guys is too much to keep fed.

Brennan plus these new offensive coaches will be a great combo. Max too. And I can’t wait to see how the mew freshman phenom will do (Nussmeier). Finley is a beast too. Brennan is more mature, experienced, and smarter due to his age and time with the team. If he’s healthy the job should be his. But they will compete for the starting job for sure. But Myles was slinging the ball in those first 3 games and he will be better protected once the new OC gets his reps and schemes in place. Really excited for 21.

We wasted another 5 years on that foolishness. Even wasted a Mett, OBJ, Landry and Hill offense.

And Leonard Fournette.

Run the ball, Leonard.

0 yards.

Run the ball Leonard.

1 yard.

Run the ball Leonard.

-2 yards.

“Punting team! On the field!”

38 yards total for LF playing Bama that year (2017?). LF was a beast and wasn’t coached up to his talent.

With a year’s more maturity, and good coaching from OC and DC, and spring practice etc., these guys will play well. Austin D didn’t forget how to play since 2019. I suspect most of this is on some weak coaching and lack of practice as a unit. Regardless, Dec coming back is a definite gain for us.

Huge win for the team. I don’t know what O said to them or how it was pitched, but all these guys coming back is big news. They don’t want to go out 5-5. Not to mention, with all the new talent and the new coordinators coming in, next year looks to be a good one. Also improves their draft stock. But I wouldn’t want to end 5-5 and a Covid year, if I had the chance to come back and end it right. GEAUX TIGAHS!!
