Some are concerned about the quality of life in Baton Rouge, but if the competition is South Bend or Cincinnati. Baton Rouge does not look so bad.

Shows a lot of respect. Freeman is going to do this the right way .

From what I understand he's lived his life in an honorable manner always. He's our guy. Honorable is always a good thing.

I don't care for Austin personally, but Austin is a good place quality of lifewise. That's a concern.

Several here have said positive news from TOS, Brother Burrow even supposedly...AYS mentioned on his podcast to refresh your twitter and FB from when you wake up on Friday morn until about lunch time (paraphrasing him)...so I'll reluctantly give it till lunch tomorrow before I start running in the middle of a busy highway with rusty scissors lol...GDT's

No "official decision" yet. Doesn't mean he doesn't already have an unofficial decision. Maybe he just prefers to inform Fickell in person, like a man. Maybe he just wants to discuss with his wife in private and confirm the decision together, like a good husband.

Freeman went home to talk things over with his "inner circle" which includes Luke Fickell. Is Fickell still pissed at us for signing Joe Burrow out from under him? I hope he does not try to undermine us because of this.

It's been said before by pay site that when fickell was offered the Michigan st job he talked it over with freeman first & made a decision. I think there's alot of respect between the 2 & freeman wants to do the same.

Bingo... He played and was coached by Fickell at OSU. They have as tight a friendship and respect as anyone.

And you think Cincinnati is a great place to live and raise a family? Better go do some research

It's his home... He's from Dayton, Ohio and all of his family lives there.

It's kinda like car sales, you don't want to let them leave the lot.

It’s possible we don’t want to give large buyouts anymore, but his agent or contract lawyer are trying to get something similar to what we offered before.

probably so, but realistically he could make more as OC at LSU than HC at cinci. Successfully turnaround as LSU DC would open the same doors that continued success at cinci would.

Let us not forget that burrow visited Cincy and then visited BR and the. Returned home and didn’t decide to go with LSU for close to a week.

Sure we’d rather he have just signed with LSU but him going home to think about it isn’t a death sentence.

Well, that's a shitty place. Cincy is only a few miles from Dayton though.
