Weren't people claiming Quinn was supposed to be really fast? Malachi said he's faster than Quinn.

Speedy would definitely be getting snaps. They would probably have a package just for him involving jet sweeps and bubble screens.

Uh...sarcasm?

Les did quite well with WRs last year.

I think you are wrong, he just has better stats playing is Sumlin's offense. Quinn is a more talented WR and he is a better blocker playing for a run oriented team. The NFL will draft the more talented WR higher, and I believe that will be Quinn. Noil is 5th is the team in receiving behind a freshman and two sophomores, not saying he isn't good but a lot of WRs could put up nice stats in that system.

As a return man, Noil would probably be a factor at LSU right now. As a WR he would play behind Quinn.

He is really fast. One of the fastest football players in the state of Louisiana. His 100m track accomplishments prove it.

I'm fine with what we have, to be honest.

Hell, it's going to be tough to recruit skill players as it is. You have a freshman QB, a freshman featured RB, 3 freshmen and a soph at WR; and not a lot of chances to jump them. Nobody is going to beat Fournette, Dural or Dupre out next season.

What we need is more O line and LBers, not another skill player.

Noil would get as much time as Dupre and Quinn, and most who say otherwise are wearing p&g glasses

Quinn is faster than Noil. I have also noticed that while Quinn's stats are not high, opposing D's spend a lot of time and effort covering him.

He is disruptive to opposing Def. backs, opening doors for other receivers.

We all know that Dural is special, and Diarse looks every bit the part of a special player. Speedy Noil was a loss, but honestly speaking, when would he see the field in SEC competition on our team? Who could he play in front of? Loving me some LSU receiving corp this year!

I guess I see your point, but fact is that though we have a great young corps, having Speedy certainly wouldn't have hurt. I'm damned excited for the boys we have and wish Speedy the best until we play Aggy and/or need them to lose.

Kind of tough to make any kind of comparison, since our starting QB for the first 4 games looked for only 1 receiver 95 percent of the time.

It's difficult to catch a ball from a QB who doesn't even know you're on the field.

We may never know really. I like what we got though and Noil is in an offense that suits him well. I really like Speedy and would have loved to have him, but I'm not sweating it.

I'm with you. The few times Quinn has had a ball thrown his way, he's looked good. Hopefully, Harris will continue to try to spread the ball around.

Either the Purple & Gold glasses are really strong or some of you guys don't follow recruiting. Speedy would absolutely be getting PT if he came to LSU. To say Quinn is more athletic is just plain ignorant as if Noil didn't have a 45 inch vertical and run a 4.4 at the nike SPARQ combine. I love Quinn but let's not try to belittle a 5 star WR with 1st round talent.

I'd prefer the guys we have now, especially if we can land Tyron Johnson

It really is ridiculous. This LSU team is very talented but several instate guys that went to other programs like Speedy would still get on the field at LSU. Quille, Dak Prescott, Landon Collins, Denzell Devall, and Chucky Hunter would all be starting at LSU. They probably would shuffle the OL around to get Cam Robinson on the field too.

I'm not saying fans have to like them but atleast acknowledge they're good players. When it's all said and done they are still from Louisiana.

Faster maybe , would be nice to have-sure. But Quinn is a better route runner , better hands ,and has a better mindset than Noil.

Remember Trovon Reed ? He thought he'd be world's best by goin to Auburn. NOT !
