I do. And Game Day traffic is awful as you can imagine. I've been before and as long as you dont show up after 10 to get a parking spot, you should be fine. The quad is the epicenter. If you dont have a spot pre determined. start there.

God speed.

I've been there 2007, 2009 and 2011.

Never had a bad experience. Still keep in contact with a few folks I tailgates with my first trip and continued to tailgate with them the following 2 trips.

You get the occasional "RAAAWWWWL MOTHER F$:&(!NG TIIHHHHDD!!!!!!!" but if you can't handle that then no need to go.

Get ready to play some corn hole.

You're gonna be miserable if we lose and you're going to get beat up if we win.

Have fun.

They tailgate very well. Trash talk is blended with a surprising amount of good nature and good times. Friday night and Saturday pregame are always a good time. They can get pretty shitty after the game no matter the outcome, but stay out of the fray and it's no big deal.

Campus is beautiful, the girls are beautiful, and the atmosphere is generally the second best in the SEC (in my biased opinion). Get there early Saturday, it gets busy. They have some free and more $10 parking lots on campus that are close to busses that will drop you off pretty close to the quad, which is a good place to walk around.

Weather is a total wild card that time of year. It could be 70 and sunny or 45 and rainy, so keep an eye on that.

Tuscaloosa is shite but they have a few newer hotels just off interstate. Or stay in Birmingham to be safe. Their fans are horrible so be prepared. Traffic is about as bad as Baton Rouge as nobody actually stays in town after the game because Tuscaloosa is shite.

Good bar strip near campus...much better than the dump called tigerland....
People are nice but the upper deck is very steep and high...if I couldn't get lower bowl tickets I would stay at home....
Believe me lower bowl tickets a worth the extra price

Campus is beautiful, get there early enough to enjoy it. The Bryant museum is worth the time to see. Bar called Gallettes is pretty cool, but be willing to get ridden pretty hard if you wear a lot of LSU gear. The yellow hammer drinks are good.

Been once, 2009. Stayed in Meridian too. The drive is not bad. Was a 2:30 start and we arrived about 10:00. Actually paid some really nice students to park in the driveway of their duplex within walking distance of the stadium.

Don't understand the comments on their fans after the game. I found them very nice and many just hung around the stadium after the game unlike here. There was an accident on one of the roads that one of their fans parked near me made sure he told me about. Even gave me directions on best way to leave. He was right and we were on our way to Meridian in no time.

Also was able to speak with dearly departed relatives where I was sitting.

Oh yeah, forgot to buy peanuts and eat at least half the bag until too late in the 4th quarter so that loss was on me. Sorry.

Went in 2009 and will never go again. Never seen a worse group of people after a win in my life. Frick those inbreds.

Went in '13 the campus is beautiful, almost every fraternity/sorority house on the row is almost brand new due to the tornado years back.

There are a couple of huge LSU tailgates south of the quad off of University if you're looking for a good time.

If your tickets are through LSU like someone said you'll be sitting way up there. On JC Copelands fumble on the 1yd line we all cheered and thought he scored for 5 seconds.

The crowd for its size isn't very loud, however it does get loud after every Bama 1st down ... the most annoying chant in the SEC.
