I just want to see this team (coaches included) play to win instead of playing not to lose. It's very frustrating seeing the timid playcalling.
I have yet to see any emotion, any fire, from either our players or our coaches.

I would argue pretty strongly that over the last 8 years you have had the "best" program in college football. I too want the program to be the "best", but I am also not so ridciculous and boneheaded to think that after every game we lose we need to fire everyone and Miles is an idiot. You guys are just pathetic.
Resting on laurels is loser talk, glad I never got caught up in that shite.
You are only as good as your current status, and that is how business goes. The offense has issues, changes need to be made to accommodate the current personnel and fans will be happy with a competitive team.
The offense isn't even competitive anymore. It's a problem whether you acknowledge it or not. The defense and ST's carried this team last year, and it's exposed this year.
We are dealing with the present, not the past.

Never said a word about replacing Les. Been a supporter since day one, but he is slow as hell to make changes sometimes.

I just want to see some forward movement, progressing instead of regressing.
I thought Mett improved over his last 2 games. He threw the ball away which he hadn't done all season, against the toughest D he's faced all year. Not bad since our patchwork o-line for 3 quarters had a true so. in his 6th start, a true fr. in his 2nd start, and redshirt fr. with 20-30 garbage time snaps this year.
With our D, unless we turn the ball over multiple times, we will be in every game. We just need to worry about improving vs. USCe, then improving on the road at A&M, and resting/getting the younger guys coached up during the bye week in preparation for Bama.

I see you have a keen grasp of the situation
Why the frick do some of you even come to a college football message board?

Not sure LSU has the personnel to execute a controlled passing game. Throwing deep once in a while may be the best we can hope for.

Well Bama hasn't been tested yet. We'll see what they're made of against us and Scar/UF in the title game, if they get that far. I'm not ready to crown Bama (or USCe or UF) SEC champs until Dec. in Atl. If we win out, we're in Miami.

All coaches have their fault. But it is hard to sustain a drive when you have receivers dropping the ball. I can recall 4 drops in the game and all would have been 1st downs. That adds 12 more plays at least. Simply put, our receivers need to step up. We will have problems running against SEC defenses due to our now young O line. Other than the play calling to end the half, I thought the overall play calling was fine. Miles can't make the catches. The WR were all highly rated recruits, but they are young overall. The swamp was a crazy atmosphere. Why don't you support the team and your coach this week and let's see how they respond!

He said new people will see the field in regards to our WR woes. I don't believe that shite for one second.
No he didnt. Some of you guys arent posting what he said word for word and its misleading information.

Bama has experienced offensive line issues similar to LSU
I have more faith in them fixing theirs in season than us though, and their personnel in the passing game seem to be a little more competent and experienced.

you guys are seriously dumb if you though he was goign to answer questions about coaching or the offnse with specific and definite answers. He has never done that and never will.

It's not just about the UF loss. We have been winning in spite of our offense for awhile now and you know it. Just because you are winning doesn't mean you don't have issues that need to be addressed and Les has not addressed them.
Doesn't matter....we have been winning and will continue to win.

If a coach starts down that road, they lose respect. Anything that is being done is being done behind closed doors the way it should be. It just pisses you nosy frickers off that you don't know what's happening
Whatever Les would say to lose respect would not mean shite if he puts out a good product on the field. No one cares what he says if LSU goes out there and kicks arse. If he just meowed the whole press conference but went out there and produced a team that played well on offense, defense and special teams then I could give 2 shits, and I dont think anyone else would either.

Perhaps the coach(es) feel the best chance to win is to be conservative on O and lean on the special teams and D
They leaned on them Saturday until they broke. Fine, let your D win most of your games. That will work with the vast majority of D-1 teams. The teams that WON'T work on are the good ones; the ones we need to beat to win the conference and the league. Against those teams we need to score some points or at the very least, keep the ball for a while to let the D catch their breath. I'd love to know how many actual minutes (not game mintues) our D was on the field vs. how many their D was on the field.

Sounds like we are going to come out with the same old tired game plan on Saturday.

As I said, different people see things in totally different ways, and are satisfied at different levels.
Will see what happens this weekend.
