Worse than those 72 dolphins yahoos with threads like this. Go open a bottle of champagne for something so meaningless.

Georgia didn't have the pitching to win it all.
The offense was dynamite but when they ran into good pitching, the offense would go silent and they didn't have the staff compensate for it.

Their pitching gave up 5 runs(4 earned) before tonight. The hitters disappeared under the pressure. 3-19 for the Golden Spikes award winner and your superman leadoff hitter isn't going to cut it.

I read somewhere that UGA was unstoppable less than 2 days ago and between back to back losses to OU. Sorsby would be a billionaire by now if he just read tRant and faded all the predictions.

I’d be quite surprised if he wasn’t already a millionaire.

I watched Tennessee play a number of times at home and given the fields in the SEC better than 55% of those homeruns would have been out if played on another SEC field.
Vasily to short of an outfield at Tenn.

I will say this until I am blue in the face if the wind didn't change in '98 we have the top 2 on that list. 3 guys with 25+ HRs was insane.
Would be nice to see us flirt with the record one of these seasons but I think '23 is about as close as we will come with the way Jay likes to construct the roster and I have no issue with it. It makes for a very successful trip to Omaha. I think this season we will see 3-4 guys flirt with 15-20 HRs between Braun, Serna, Bide, and potentially Bino.

It's gonna be broken very soon unless they change something. Tenn and UGA have come very close in the last couple years and their parks aren't changing

It definately got in Georgia's head when they kept having long fly outs that wouldh have been homers at their home field. They were out homered by most of the teams in CWS despite being the home run leader for the season by a large margin.

Any team who plays in a park with center field less than 400 feet should be disqualified from breaking the record…
