I think the fireworks might be louder in his habitat. It’s right by the actual end zone where they are fired from

Haha that’s just totally wrong. The fireworks are on the 20 yard line opposite of Mike’s habitat.

As far as crowd noise id say it isn’t as loud in his habitat, but it’s certainly still loud as shite and if he truly hates the noise he is freaking out just the same

It’s a bowl. Anything that is happening inside the bowl is going to be louder inside rather than outside. This is just common sense.

How about we skip the Tiger and just let the band play NECK?! ?????

That would do a hell of a lot more to fire fans up DURING THE GAME!

And the cannon?

I don’t really care much if a tiger is on the field or not but it’s a little frustrating to see that our governor has spent weeks on this “pet project” because he just has to have a live tiger in the stadium. Do you need something to do Landry? We have plenty of other shite that’s well worth your time

Nobody was asking for this, he just didn’t like getting told no by LSU

o, I'm expecting a younger tiger, we shall see. The REAL question is what is the Tiger's name going to be? Mikey? Throw back to Sheik?

You think an animal with actusl noise anxiety wouldn’t be bothered by the fireworks and crowd screaming by being a mere 100 feet from the stadium?

Dogs freak the frick out while inside a house when kid fireworks are being shot down the street

I think it’s a real possibility a tiger or any animal would have noise anxiety and hate being in the stadium. But I 100% thinks it’s idiotic to try and believe that same animal would be ok being right next to the stadium in mikes habitat

You said that it would be just as loud or even louder inside of Mike’s habitat rather than inside the stadium. That was just an idiotic thing to say. And you kept repeating it, as if you were right while spouting off factually incorrect information.

I have no idea how much anxiety Mike gets inside his habitat during a game, and neither do you. We do know that the previous Tiger absolutely hated getting in that cage and being paraded around the stadium though.

LOL! I remember seeing Mike on the field as a kid. Was cool and all, but was long gone before the action started. I’d prefer a stadium going ballistic before a huge 4th down vs a pregame Tiger.

Just my 2 cents if I could only pick 1

So funny how a majority on this board say "We need to have Mike back on the field, it's stupid". The Governor is trying to make that happen, and now everyone works for Peta.

So LSU is allowing him to just plop a random tiger in a little cart? Is this real? I just cant see LSU being like, yea go ahead no issues there. Landry is such a moron.

You think this is going to be a problem for him long term, that his governorship is going to be jeopardized because of this?

We have a lot of miserable fans. Just enjoy it. Its ok.

The governor is proving a point/picking a petty fight. So what. It's ok.

For nearly 80 years a live Tiger was brought into the stadium. One Tiger had issues and suddenly every tiger is going to have issues and we need a big argument over it every time this comes up? Come on. Even the dean of the vet school said in theory a young tiger could be introduced to the crowd with no issue. It's going to be ok.

To some people the tradition doesn't matter. To others it does. You're going to be ok regardless of if there's a tiger on the field or not. Relax and enjoy it. Or don't. But you shouldn't get so worked up over something you admittedly think is stupid.
