For the people talking about grandparents being influences for kids not going to Ole Miss…..I mean it’s not ancient history for someone that was alive in 1962 to remember the riots and national guard being sent to Oxford to integrate the school. James Meredith walking into class with armed guards while being yelled & spit at by white students was only 64 years ago. Plenty fresh in a 70-90ish grandparents mind.
There was push back all over the south during this time to some extent, but Oxford is one that made international news. A LOT has changed since then, but a lot has stayed the same

I was gonna say might as well let Paz throw 70-80 pitches but that might be the 2nd inning
Right on cue
re: NCAABB to expand the men's and women's basketball tournaments from 68 to 76 teams.

The only way I support this is if they let some of the regular season champs that don’t win their conference tournaments have those spots. You see it every year where a team wins 30 games and then has 1 bad game in conference tourney and gets left out. I’d much rather see a smaller school that will go nuts to have a chance to play vs a .500 team just because they are a “name”.

Much better than losing series vs Kentucky
Yes. Just add the espn app to your tv, login with your YouTube tv account & you are good to go.
Also YouTube tv lets you do a 4 channel split screen for anything! Absolutely HUGE for March madness & busy college football weekends! Probably my favorite thing about having it
Base package with sec network. Like others have said, espn+ & secn+ allows you to stream all the games on your tv. As long as you have good internet the picture is perfect.
You actually don’t even need to subscribe to espn+ but I like to have the ability to watch all the smaller school games throughout the year.
ESPN+ is like 10ish bucks a month, it’s not the unlimited package

Sanction results without any sanctions
If/when they build a new arena, they should let the women play in it and make the men play at the rec center
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
I would add if your coach leaves/gets fired you have a free transfer. That gives 1 freebie and 1 if the coach who recruited you leaves. Anything beyond that and sit out a year.
If ncaa implements this years ago, along with some sort of compensation plan…we’re not in the spot we are now. Instead, they fought this tooth & nail for 20+ years and lost! Genie is out of the bottle

He also just said “That’s a good question” when asked by Mascona if any tax payer funds were used in Tiger Stadium renovations. Pretty sure this was all private monies/TAF dollars that paid the bill. That’s why there was uproar about stadium renovations when the library was flooding.
Two separate funding sources….one by school and one by TAF

fricking pathetic
I honestly think if the NCAA would have been a little more proactive with this instead of fighting it in court every step of the way for the past 20+ years….they wouldn’t be in this spot.
If they decided 20 years ago to let players get a couple grand a month and 1 free transfer….most players would have been totally fine with that. Add in a free transfer if your coach leaves or you are a grad transfer and that would have been more than enough. Instead they wanted to control every last penny and doubled down on everything.
Once the court cases all started, the writing was on the wall. NCAA no longer has a leg to stand on and basically on the verge of losing any leverage over major college football teams.
