An interesting dark horse for LSU is OU

OU is definitely getting Texas and Mizzou. We have only played OU 4 times ever and never in Norman (until we play this year). I just don't see them trying to continue to force a rivalry when there isn't one,

They could maybe play A&M since they have played them the most amount of times after Texas and Mizzou, but I don't see A&M being OK with Texas, LSU, and Okla.

Arky will get Mizzou and Aggie likely

Arkansas will definitely get Texas. They've played each other 80 times without being in the same conference for 30 years. Between them, Mizzou, and aTm, I think aTm is least likely. Although, Arkansas may have the simplest 3 teams of the entire SEC.

I still think we will get Oklahoma. SEC is not giving us Bama so we need a team that is a title threat. OU meets that requirement and solves the Thanksgiving weekend game problem for both LSU and OU.

Wow Tenner got lucky there. Vandy and UK?

And the Nebraska of our generation. Easiest draw ever.

LSU kinda getting screwed here but I'm sure most fans wanted this

It's actually not that bad. UF looks to be the weakest this year but based on history how often are OM and aTm going to be tough in the same year? They both look solid this year but do you expect that as the norm?

More likely scenario is UF, Bama, Old Piss

Do we think this is accurate?

Seems like a pretty easy draw for the Vols with Bama and 2 typical bottom feeders.

so we only get one of the original SEC teams and then a pair of SWC castoffs? frick that. Bama, Ole Miss, Florida they're not going to give us those 3, but that's who it should be.

Was the premise of the article a lets see who Tenn has played the most, and chose them as their permanent 3?

If that's how it works LSU gets Miss St, Ole Miss & Bama

UTen is going to get Bama and could get UGA. If they dont get UGA they will South Carolina for sure. Maybe they get Bama SC and Ark

If we go off the premise that the Vols reporter has a good source, then Tennessee is not getting UGA.

It actually makes sense that UT-UGA isn't a permanent.

That's because UGA is most definitely getting UF and AU, two of the SEC traditional Big Six.

Auburn is getting UGA and Bama.

Tenner gets let off the hook with only 1 traditional Big Six.

LSU will likely get Florida because the only other traditional Big Six'er UF has a history with is Auburn, who is taken. (Unless Auburn gets royally screwed)

UGA: AU, UF, TBD
Aub: UGA, Bama, TBD
Bama: Aub, Tenn, TBD
UF: UGA, LSU, TBD
Tenn: Bama, UK, VU
LSU: UF, Ole Miss, TBD (prob A&M, Ark, or OU)

If you consider there are 3 "strong" programs along the newbies (A&M alongside the obvious OU and Texas), then they'll want to make it fairly balance for those 3, hopefully.

Texas: OU, A&M, TBD
OU: Texas, ???, Mizzou
A&M: Texas, ???? I'd guess either LSU or OU

The reason people keep mentioning OU is simply because of thanksgiving rivalry week. I have no idea how likely that is. I'd rather play Arkansas, let OU play OSU or Mizzou.
