wouldn't noot be on short rest if he starts .Jay may surprise us this year with his starting pitching.
maybe he will realize that if we win game one with noot and shores ,and whoever else , then we would be very hard to beat in the next 2 games with our two aces pitching .

I've been very impressed with our pitching lately,even the bullpen has been much better and not walking a ton of guys. so even if we use Anderson or eyanson in game 1 and 2 ,we would still be tough to beat in the games afterwards.
I still say we shouldn't throw an ace in game 1 but if we do I'll still be confident

Wife and I on a Med cruise so was happy to see ESPN2 on our TV guide and that most shows are SEC Network based. Hoping they air LSU game — 10 pm Mediterranean Sea time. Will feel like a rain delay game!

The consequences of losing game 1 are much greater than losing game 3. Lose game 1 and you have to win 4 straight. Lose game 3 and you just get a rematch.
Also I think I trust Noot more vs DBU's #4 than vs Little Rocks ace. 4 seeds tend to have 1 really good pitcher that can hang around with anyone for 5 innings.
It's one thing to save your ace for game 2, but you don't save your #1 and #2 for games 2 and 3
