For those old enough to remember, nothing nothing nothing will ever match Auburn 2006. The only game I’ve ever watched that I’m 100% convinced was rigged. But not 2006 Auburn.

I can remember some other atrocious calls that year. Notably against Tenn, when the Tenn punt returner touched the ball and LSU recovered. The refs decided he did not actually touch the ball despite replay showing the ball changing trajectory from hitting his arm. Balls just do that in mid air on their own, you see.

And then early on in the 2006 Florida game LSU was controlling and scored a TD. Refs decided it should come off the board and declared a phantom hold on LSU. Jamarcus fumbles next play and we go on to lose a weird sloppy game.

There was a bad call on a Hester reception against UF too

But Saturday night was the worst officiating I’ve ever seen even considering those games

Launched, and led with the crown of the helmet to the bottom of the facemask as WR came down. Textbook targeting, head snapped back, everything you look for.

He clearly launched. He lowered his head. He hit Harris on the helmet before he hit him in the chest.

Pretty much the definition of targeting, but whatever.

That was called targeting though, and overturned on review.

Which is fricking wild, when the tush push was upheld on review.

100 percent, this game was rigged.

No it doesn't. Crown of the helmet straight into the chin, and he lunged.

NBA was rigged. see tim donaghy.

all it takes is one rogue official to ruin a football game.

why does the SEC not let us hear the reviews like other conferences do?

why do these so called "graded reviews" of officials not made open to the public for full transparency. Until they make this shite open i will never believe a word out of any cocksuckers mouth in birmingham.

Nobody going to call out the A&M game that took 7 OT to get the result the refs wanted?!

Hilarious claim of possession on recovering a fumble with a fingertip... The tight end catching the ball, tucking it as he turned and took multiple steps, then impact dislodged it, but calling the result an incomplete pass instead of a fumble. So many that game!
