Hearing from multiple sources that it's very unlikely Florida moves the LSU game to Baton Rouge.

They are trying to get it moved to a 2:30 or later start. Trying to get ESPN on board, plus the not crack of dawn game gives everyone time to settle down from what happened. Almost identical what happened last year with the SC game. Alleva was able to get it pushed back from the initial start time.

Could be moved to ESPNews at 2:30 or even ESPN2 since regional games not on ABC are set to be moved there (BYU-Michigan State or VA Tech-UNC).

I would guess it would become an ESPNews or SEC alt game if they were able to move the time. If not, hopefully the production trucks can make it here in time for the crack of dawn kick. Idk why yall are so hostile today, I personally am looking forward to getting to see the tigers play in person another time this year with the crazy coonarse at the helm

The source for one was a band member, said the band was just told.

Not saying I dont believe you, but the band grad assistants havent been notified of anything and they usually know what is going on before the actual members.

Wouldn't CBS have to give a waiver to play at 2:30?

Could you imagine the horrible press CBS would get if they held firm on not allowing another SEC game at this time?

Moving the gametime makes no sense to me.

People made plans for saturday afternoon thinking we play at 11. If you now move the game to Saturday afternoon, I think you hurt attendance. If you keep it at 11, people can go and still have their afternoon.

They could just say play it at 6:30 at the same time as your other games.

I can imagine the one bone thrown to UF is that it won't be a night game.

Fl Gov Scott is on TV now, said the effects will last through the weekend since it is an extremely slow moving storm and a slight deviation to the west could be catastrophic.

Just move the damn game and do what's best for everyone.

Where it's being played is not going to affect the outcome.........we got this

Considering it is now nearly close of business Wednesday, and the preparations that need to be made to make Tiger Stadium playable for a football game usually take 4 full days and nights, it may be more of a move to make sure everything gets taken care of. Ronnie Halliburton's staff is pretty top notch but the things you dont even think of that have to be done pregame just take time. So i'd imagine the moving the time would be to ensure the stadium and campus is fully prepared for this.

Not sure why you're getting so many downvotes, I agree. I have plans that afternoon because of the 11 AM game, as I'm sure many others do as well.
