That's assanine. The later you play, the better attendance you will have.

Most people who made plans this weekend, would have made them for the afternoon/evening, because they are still planning on watching the game on tv.

So logic says, moving the game to the afternoon instead of morning will help attendance? Please explain the logic behind this

If the game time is changed, this will be the second year in a row we've planned to have my son's birthday party at the same time as an away game, so we can set up a TV outside and let the kids run around, and I can grill and watch, and the game has been moved. My son turns 2 October 14. SC last year, now FL this year.

I guess from now on, we're going to start moving his birthday party to the first weekend in November every other year.

How does that make any sense?

that's what they're worried about, people's Saturday afternoon plans

How about we worry about the "where" before we focus on the "when"

Fyi: it's because no one cares about those plans. Not really trying to be an arse. Majority of people will ditch their afternoon plans to go watch the Tigers play Florida.

Because a lot of the LSU fanbase doesn't live in BR, and it's easier to travel to a game that is later in the day.

Some of these forecast models for Hurricane Matthew look like they were done by a drunk with an Etch-a-sketch.

I don't see how this goes later than 2:30, if UF fought the move as hard as it appears, there is no way it is a night game.

Attendance isn't (and shouldn't be) a factor in this decision.

Isnt it easier to travel back home on a game that ends earlier?

Well what other reason would there be for moving the game time?

If it doesn't change course and the UF admin still wants to hold it there and divert resources from an imminent major hurricane, we owe it to the people of FL to put up 70 on them.

Could be a quick tenure for Stricklin
