Kardell can't catch a break! He's not even listed on the depth chart at FAMU! I know he didn't pan out, but I'm still a fan because he was an ace recruiter for LSU!

He ran around a 330lb lineman twice. He should be in the nfl by now lol

Man as 2019 ended I thought this guy was gonna be next level.

While he seemed to be way undersized (even under his listed weight), he showed edge rush speed similar to Perkins. No way comparing the two overall, but he could get around an offensive tackle in a heartbeat.

Him spending time at WR at TCU was career killing.

They had a really good WR transfer class that included JoJo Earle, john paul ricahrdson and jaylon robinson

I’d be pretty surprised if Bech is third string. I’d be mildly surprised if he’s not starting, likely in the slot

Brooks had a couple of nice pass rushes but I don’t remember him doing anything else, I think people are overrating him for that.

But Bech has the heart and he makes plays and he’s got they eye of the tiger though?

How is he 3rd team at a school with shitty WR’s?

All time dumbest transfer had to be Max Johnson though. BK likely would have brought in someone who would have passed him up, but on paper- a guy who was a starter for 2 years at an SEC power going on to transfer and never start again… all time head scratcher.

TCU had 8 players picked in the NFL Draft. (2 more than LSU.)
Two WRs, both picked before the one WR picked from LSU.
The denigrating sarcasm looks baseless and misplaced.

I’m not putting all the losses on Bech. I’m saying we lacked elite talent.

I’m just using the fact that he was one of our top pass catchers as evidence of that. He’s a P5 level player, he’s just not a starter on a squad that’s winning championships.

He couldn’t get separation as a wide receiver. He was fine his freshman year when he was matched against a teams line backer. Better than kole Taylor and that’s about it.

Again, I disagree.
Hypothetically plug him into the offense on any of those Championship teams in an H-back or slot role, and he can be a key player.
An H-back role obviously is contingent on that being incorporated into the offense. Georgia has done it with Brock Bowers.
Bill Belichick incorporated it into the NE offense to utilize two TEs when AH was with the Patriots.
Bech got some freshman All-American honors, and deservedly so. In terms of talent, that was more of an issue across the board in 2021. The WR unit was just young, but still had some good talent. I think Nabers is the higher ceiling player, but Bech excelled in his role.
Bech already proved himself in 2021 in the SEC. We'll see how it plays out with TCU. I'm not totally sold on him being 3rd Team yet.

separation

2:33 -- separation from Smoke Monday, a senior safety who is now with the Saints. Not a linebacker.
Most of the routes he ran that season weren't "separation" types, but he was open enough to lead the team in catches.

Pomanski really screwed this team in his GM role

Baloney! Ponamski wasn’t responsible for evaluating talent. If he was Orgeron is as big of an idiot as I thought he was.

MCGlothern is the only one that really hurts.

I didn’t like him. He had the attitude and the technique, but he did not have the talent to stay with WR 1 and 2’s in the SEC.

Um... You watched the play right? He got separation because the ref threw a block for him.

He was a solid check down option for Mr. Checkdown Max Johnson. Most of his catches were squatting against the zone and turning up field for a few yards. He's not a WR1 and probably not a WR2 on many teams.

To be fair to him, the Orgeron regime really set his career back trying to make him into a small TE instead of a big bodied receiver. Best of luck to him but he's Tiger Bait like the rest of 'em.
