so they are protesting Verge and Seager, who aren't at that building, that is the crazy part.

Yeah.

why are they blocking traffic for people that have 0 to do with anything. the football players didn't vote to have verge and Seager get slaps on the wrist.

It does get attention.

quote:

They clearly think O is somehow involved which he isn't and makes them dumb. shite some of those males probably think Les Miles is still our coach

I mean At least one girl with a sign does.

Honestly, calling for Verge and Seager to get fired isn’t crazy.

Neither is saying the football players can walk to class.

Y’all realize most classes are still online and there are football players that live off campus right? Maybe some of them have other places to be besides class. It’s not just saying they can walk to class, it’s just being an arse and disrupting people’s daily lives who have nothing to do with what they are protesting.

attention to a situation of what exactly?

O wasn't involved in any of this which a sign alludes to this being on him. this was a les miles issue, which les miles is not currently employed by LSU, perhaps LSU should take this a step further and try to sue him for the buyout we paid.

F. King and Joe Alleva are no longer here, they could go protest at their new office/houses

Verge and Seager aren't at that building, so being mad that either got a slap on the wrist isn't doing much neither see those kids.

the Tennis coach does not work at that building.

I'm just not seeing this as a situation, all the major parties involved which are really F. King, Joe, Drake and Guice are no longer here.

blocking traffic isn't exactly paying reparations. A slight inconvenience to the players. But likely the best way for them to draw attention to the situaton

Absolutely no one who was previously unaware of the situation is going to be enlightened by two dozen students sitting in a parking lot. USA Today beat these losers to the punch on that one.

They want attention for themselves.

They are inconveniencing a few football players who fully support peaceful protests.

The best way to draw attention is to sit across Nicholson Drive.

I think you are reading too much into this.

You're upset, the players are upset, it's on the news. That is the point of the whole thing. That is why they are where they are.

So white people are obstructing black people from going to class?

This plus, white liberal males are also protesting that a black man wasn't punished hard enough.

A black man that is probably one of the very few that hold his position, they want him fired instead of suspended for his one mess up.

#LSU tight end Aaron Moffitt and a few other players have come over and debated the protest. Moffitt says he has to leave to feed his dog, contending “y’all don’t know any better” because they should sit-in the admin building across the street.

The shite show continues

Also comment from LSU:

quote:

LSU spokesman Ernie Ballard: “We support our students and their right to speak freely. We look forward to continuing the dialogue with them as we work to implement Husch Blackwell’s recommendations. This is a long and difficult process, and we appreciate student input.”

I'm not upset

I'm posting on a message board at lunch about ugly girls and some sad losers protesting in the wrong spot. I'm not losing sleep over this, just taking some time to lob insults about them.

So the entire point of this "sit-in" is to piss everyone off at the protesters, and make themselves look like idiots who have no idea what the story actually is, or who is involved?

Doesn't really seem like they are doing anything other than show how ignorant and stupid they (the protesters) are. Everyone...literally every single person who would be aware of this protest is already aware of the USA Today story.

If they wanted to draw attention to a situation or to particular individuals, perhaps the AD building or Galligan's office would actually, you know...make sense.

Well Verge and Miriam both should be fired so they’re right about that at least
Yeah. But football players can't fire Verge or Miriam. (If they could, they would have fired Miriam a long time ago.)

At least protest Galligan or the BOS or someone who actually has the power to do something.

Why would anyone need to be sensitive about a "cause" that has nothing to do with anyone working in the Football ops building?

They want the players to fire Verge?
