I kinda figured this would happen after Tennessee beat Bama.

Could be worse, undefeated Iowa State fell one spot after another win.

It will correct itself with a win at A&M next week

Doesn’t really matter as I believe the CFP is coming out with their first rankings here in a couple of weeks. Beat aTm on the road and we have a top 3 resume in CFB when the first rankings come out.

Bama & UT lose ahead of us, and we don’t move even 1 spot after blowing out ARK in their house in a “trap game” spot.

If we'd had Chris Hilton we'd have moved up.

Better win is definitely debatable

Still getting no respect

Doesn’t matter, win the rest of the games and get a bye in the playoffs.

My only real issue is Tennessee above LSU.

Would swap those 2

This is a joke. Tenn loses to Arky and we beat them and they move above us. Bush league

Undefeated Iowa State drops in the poll after a win!

BYU also escaped with a last-second home win against a Big XII bottom feeder, yet they moved up 2 spots.

Ultimately, none of this matters, but if they're going to continue having a weekly AP poll, the voters should at least try to have it make sense.

So they shouldn’t take into account common opponents? Both teams played Arkansas and it wasn’t LSU that lost to them.

Also, is Bama a better win? They’ve now lost 2(almost 3)in a row. The LSU win vs OM seems just as good of a win as Bama.

Absolutely absurd! Tennessee loses to Arkansas at Arkansas. LSU smokes Arkansas at Arkansas. Tennessee moves up 4 spots and ahead of LSU.

Utk beat a terrible Bama team

That poll needs to go away. Too much bias and too many people who never played a sport in their life ranking teams.

The coaches poll is just as bad tho. Most coaches have someone else do their rankings.

The media did not watch LSU vs. Arkansas. All eyes were on Texas vs. Georgia which was on at the same time.
All the moron writers pegged this as a "trap game" and many, WAY TOO MANY, pegged LSU to lose. The fact that LSU not only wins, but wins by almost 4 TDs on the road vs a team that beat Tennessee, should have been enough to keep Tennessee behind them. Bama is obviously not elite. They lost to Vandy, almost lost to South Carolina, lost to Tennessee, and was up by 6 points with 6 minutes left vs South Florida until they scored 3 TDs in quick succession. Hell, they needed a miracle catch (should have been intercepted) and run to beat UGA after blowing a 28 point lead.

You can tell there is 100% a hatred towards LSU from some voters, and i think it's because certain people don't like Brian Kelly. Grown men aren't professional enough to put petty shite aside like Dan Mullen and his rankings and that one idiot guy that had LSU unranked a couple weeks ago.

That's no excuse. You could have watched the first and third quarter of the LSU game and not missed any of Texas -UGA.

LSU's loss to USC is now looking like a bad loss. USC is almost in last place in the Big 10. Arkansas is still hanging on to a winning record, even though it is just 1 game better than USC. Tennessee gets the nod there. LSU is still waiting for a signature win. Not sure anyone really believed Ole Miss would stay a top 10 team. We have our chance to solidify things against Aggie this weekend.
