it's really not that big a deal, plus the players and recruits like the all whites. they look pretty dang sharp in them.

All of the current uni kits play off of the same scheme, same brand, same logo, same colors and same wordmark. There isn't one of them that is a stretch. The white helmet dates back 27 years now, so nothing new. My personal favorite is the GWG, but both looks with the white lids are excellent, clean and absolutely on brand. The block LSU wordmark and tiger head logo are unmistakable the minute you see the team. My years in BR we had GPG for home uni which to me looks high school-ish, but I can live with it for a game a year.

Many athletes are superstitious and don’t want to mess around with changing habits and routines. Given the they played well in the “all whites” on the road last weekend in a hostile environment my guess is they will take any edge mentally they can get. If it worked don’t mess around with it.

We aren't Oregon until we start wearing unis with tiger stripes from head to toe with chrome helmets.
