If not, what total number of points do you think means WIN for the P&G this week?

No. 31 is not enough to win.

Ole Miss scored 55.

Florida State put up 45.

Missouri scored 39.

Arkansas scored 31.

I feel like a safe threshold for the offense is 45 points. If we have enough possessions we can get there.

The concern is the Alabama offense playing keep away and stringing together 7+ minute drives that we are helpless to stop.

I can already see Milroe scrambling for 15+ yards on 3rd downs.

Bama will run down LSU's throats. Saban will keep jd5 off the field. By mid 3rd quarter our d will quit and bama will pull away. We will have the lowest scoring output of the year Sat imo. Saban aint stupid. They gonna run between the tackles all night till we quit.

The otherside of that coin is bama will shite the bed and we win.

Can anyone see "Bama" shitting the bed at "Bama" ....has anyone ever seen it? It will be a rough meltdown for people here in denial.

I think we need mid to high 30's. Bama is likely scoring over 30. I'm not sure of Wingo's status and we will be playing a first time starter at the already depleted CB position.

I'm pinning my hopes on Jefferson getting a good push to slow the bama run game and Maason getting 100% and playing at a higher level. If the DBs can at least keep plays in front of them and limit the mental mistakes we have a good shot. We also need our edge defenders to keep contain. Something they haven't done all season.

There's so much to clean up defensively. House and co. need to up their game.

If we only score 31 against them we lose. We have to score at least 45 in my opinion because they will score on every possession, just hopefully we hold a few of their drives to FG’s because we’re scoring touchdowns on most of ours.

With our Oline and RBs, don't be surprised that we run it down their throats.

Will probably need a bit higher, I would have said 38. Bama currently is 15th in the country in Scoring Defense and gives up 16.5 per game. They also shut Ole Miss down but I think our offense is a little bit better and our OL will do a better job of creating some balance in the run game.

Just checked and Over/Under is actually 60.5 and we are 4.5 dogs currently. I would take the over on that and think it's more like a 38-35 type of game.

I don't feel safe with 31. It would have to be over 40, at least.

Potentially. I really think Bama will want to run the ball, control the clock and keep our offense on the sideline. I think that is actually their best defense again at JD and crew.

If they do that and we just get a few stops or force Milroe into a couple turnovers, then we capitalize on our possessions, 31 may win it.

Bama does not want to get in a track meet with Daniels vs Milroe.

It’s amazing how times have changed.

Fans are saying we need to score 40-45 pts against bama to win.

And we think we can do it!

They have a very pedestrian rushing offense and their OL isn't very good at all. I'm worried about them throwing it deep and generating explosive plays on our secondary.
