yeah that sucks. it’s early in the season so there are teams who have plays 2-3 cupcakes already.

I suspect we don’t end up particularly high in this catagories, but we’re also in “1-2 bad games will come plenty frick your average” territory

MSU and Grambling were 6/25

FSU and Arkansas were 16/27

A decent mobile QB who can extend plays till our secondary breaks down seems to be an issue.

Remember when it was called 3rd and Chavis?

I didn't play or coach football. But it's concerning when I see offensive motion six beers into a game, and I can recognize how they're moving our LBs and secondary to create space. I shouldn't know what the hell is about to happen before a defensive player that has been playing the game for eight years of his life does.

3rd and house. Ya got the #7,18 jerseys. Need to make one for 3rd down dc. From a long line of 3rd and conversions. 3rd and Chavis, 3rd and Aranda. Now, 3rd and house.

McGlothern and Harris are a pretty damn good pair of corners, and they should be our starters.

Honestly, I am surprised were not ranked lower. Every 3rd down its a House Call.

Stop saying stuff like this. It doesn’t make you sound as smart as you think it does.

1. we currently aren’t that bad. just statistically.
2. We were significantly better last year.

we are 4 games into the season with the a secondary we had to completely rebuild again in the offseason.

I think he’s doing a poor job, but Bo was so much worse with so much more.

What is so painful about this is watching literally NO CHANGE in approach despite this success. We do the same thing over and over and get the same results.

As a fan, this is exhausting. Second and 20? No problem. Easy run up the gut on 2nd down on the soft zone, then a good pass play on 3rd down and it is an easy conversion.

The worst part is lining up Perkins as a DE over the right tackle making it obvious where he is coming from....while only rushing three or four.

Just stupid yet House does it over and over and over....

This defense is just not very good. Maybe, just maybe if the offense plays lights out every game, LSU can win out in the regular season, but this defense gets abused.

That is ridiculous. The secondary is not good, but I don't see how playing zone and a cushion helps you stopping 3rd down. It is obviously not working for 4 games, I'm ready to see them man up and blitz to get pressure on the QB's.

Maybe this tendency could possibly be reversed in the Ole Miss game, with House flipping the script on 3rd and 4th down.
Kiffin will be going for every 4th down.

LSU should just go hyper agressive on defense.

This. Similar to Saints 2011 with Greg Williams. Our offense is starting to click. Heavy pressure on the opponents qb and make him make the plays. We will give some big plays, but we will increase our takeaways also.

Should have Perk attacking Dart every play. He does not perform well when under pressure

We should have a sarcastic post or 2 in every thread. Thank you.
