And the NCAAs trying to say they haven’t changed the balls, Shhhhhiiiiiiittttttttt.
He thought he didn’t come close to nuttin that ball up & even his mishit left the park.

Don’t know what games you were watching but JT couldn’t get a throw to first on less than a bounce.
But it bounces super hard

Was he one of the rumored two guys “committing/Transferring” soon? Les

This. SS has to field balls deep in the SS/3B hole then accurately make a hellava long throw.
2B just has to knock a ball in the 2B/1B hole down & make a short throw.

Maybe I should have said the volume of balls hit their way will increase the amount of errors made in a given season and the likely errors induced by much harder hit balls. Although third base probably gets harder hit balls and less volume

Wow. So if he would have had a all world 1b to help him out he might have had 15 less errors than Thompson. Thanks! I’ll take it!

Thompson had about five gifted errors not given to him that he should have gotten as well as Morgan bailing his arse out 20 or so times. Anything is better. He will be good for depth if something similar happens next year with injuries.

Awesome pickup. Maybe switching Thompson over to second will be good for him. Bring in Dugas and give him a shot at 3rd. That way you can have your younger talent on the two sides with Cruz in middle. Pearson can stay in right. Stevenson can battle incoming freshman for the LF spot. Unless we bring in someone who can play 3rd.

He sports a nice do!

Thompson’s troubles wasn’t his arm strength! It was his footwork.

Thompson would be a good 2nd baseman. Way less thinking required.

I don’t think he said “weak”; I think he said “a shite arm”.
