If James Franklin hasn’t exploded at Penn St yet, I don’t see him doing it.

i think there are some pieces that he has next year that can get him closer to over the hump.

singleton and the other RB and the much touted Drew Allar takes over at QB.

I think it's a preseason Top 15 matchup between us 2. Maybe Top 10 if we get lucky.

TCU, maybe. But ONLY because they will be in a very watered down Big 12. I'll pull for them to beat Michigan...and they might. But I don't think they will ever be in the realm of beating the best of the SEC.

USC, absolutely. Just FAR too many good things (tons of talent just in LA county alone; biggest CFB media market; tremendously wealthy alumni base...if they care to get involved). They had to almost try to F-up that program. And they succeeded.

Penn St? Good program. Maybe the occasionally best OSU and Michigan. But I don't see it on a consistent basis.

FSU. Should be far better than they have been. But long gone are the days Bobby Bowden could get in some "questionable" characters the SEC schools wouldn't take. Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, etc are all swimming in the same pond that FSU is in. The can and should certainly challenge Clemson yearly. But I don't see the 90's coming back any time soon.

TCU.

Watch how many passes Bech catches at TCU in 2023 with a QB that can get him the ball.

He was a totally wasted talent with GOAT JD5 at QB. (All the WR's were, but none more than JB)

He'll go on like Quinn did at SMU; catch a lot of balls and have an NFL career.
.
Bech loves LSU, so you know he must have gotten word that JD5 is coming back and got the hecK out of Dodge.......

The “WRs hate JD and will all bail” has been some of the wildest fan fiction I’ve ever seen on here.

The staff knew they wanted to add a transfer (Anderson) and have a plethora of HS studs coming in. Your boy was likely advised to look around if a similarly limited role next season didn’t suit him.

USC is going to be great for a long time. Just like OU was, but never got over the "hump".

Riley hauled arse away from the SEC, but the playoff (even expanded) will go through the SEC.

I think he will win one at USC. Riley is such a douche, but I like USC as a football program.

A lot of LSU fans are ignorant to it but expect FSU to be one of LSU's most challenging games next year. They're already tearing it up in the portal. I wouldn't be surprised if they're a top 10 team next year.

I can already see them carving the defense up considering how weak our LB position is especially in coverage right now. They got 2 of the best TEs in the portal and one is extremely dynamic.

He'd have to actually be on the field to get the ball. He was (at best) 4th in line of the group of WRs at LSU. Who were you going to take off the field to replace them with Bech? Boutte? Thomas? Nabers?

Bech is a solid player. As a fan I wish he would have stayed at LSU. But LSU is loaded with talent at the WR spot and some of you are acting like LSU just lost the next Jamar Chase

sorry but what in the world is this?

we pick up a 5 star from last year, 5 stars this year and our top WR decides to return but bc one average WR leaves, it's bc Daniels coming back means shite to the WRs?

absolute fan fiction, and i have no clue why ppl on here gravitate to bech as some sort of sign that the WRs don't like the QB situation even though we have absolutely strengthened it without Bech and with the pieces coming in.

What is the obsession with this guy on the board? He was a solid freshman but he wasn't good this year. He got passed up. What do you people not understand? He saw the writing on the wall. You can't hold it against him. We just got another WR that almost surely would've passed him up on talent alone and then you had Sampson, Parker, and Brown coming in talented freshman. Hell, Lacy even passed him up and saw the field more than him. Hilton coming back off injury next year and you can realistically say Bech might not have even been the 5th WR option. He was not underused, he just didn't standout compared to all the other talent at the position. It's a position LSU is historically elite in and no offense to Bech, he's not an elite talent. He has his ceiling.
