Penn State..doubtful though they have a good backfield tandem and Carter is legit. LSU, USC, TCU, and FSU are on the rise, though LSU will be the one to truly “explode” to top tier status.

USC and LSU are on a different level of potential than all of the others

Sonny Dykes isn't going to sustain TCU at this level.

We’re their first game next season so they won’t be getting a warmup

If we don’t schedule a week zero tuneup game like they surely will again, then our scheduling people should be tarred and feathered.

SoCal teams will struggle somewhat to a watered down fanbase. Just too much to do in SoCal for football to take a prime position. USC will be improved but don't see them being consistent in the conversation for 'ship.

Oregon should be on that list if they aren't. Fully agree about FSU, TCU and USC though. Penn State though? Nah. TCU will benefit more than anyone from Texas and Oklahoma's departure and shouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. Wouldn't doubt it if Nuss transfers there should JD5 come back, nor would I blame him even though I wouldn't agree with the move. USC is definitely on the rise, but is FSU really "ready to explode"? I dont buy it, regardless of their win over us this year. We're 12 months removed from having 39 scholarship players available and this year was a massive rebuild. They got us on a blocked xp. Vengeance is mine sayeth the Tigers next year in Orlando.
Also, I may be in the minority here, but I hope Tulane can build on their success and maybe we'll get to meet them in the playoffs once they expand to 12 teams. We can recruit nationwide. Not really worried about Tulane being succesful as far as them becoming a threat to our program or flipping recruits, just think it'd be awesome to see two Louisiana teams have success in the playoffs. Hopefully they'll stay on the rise with Willie Fritz. Retaining him was a huge milestone in building on their success. I hope they beat the everloving shite outta USC in the Cotton and we can schedule them sooner than later.

Oh! Can we add Bama to the list of programs ready to implode?!

Bech was a backup at best and a candidate for processing at worst. He transferred because he wasn’t good enough to see the field at LSU.
I’m sure he’s a nice young man and he may have a good career somewhere else. But you’re high if you think he left for any reason other than the obvious: he lacks the talent necessary to play here.
Oh, and the staff tried him on special teams. He blew it.
Sorry I had to spell it out for you.

Yep. Especially considering they retained their qb, have a good backfield, and added another really nice weapon via the portal.

But I don't think they will ever be in the realm of beating the best of the SEC.
This years team would’ve beat any SEC team not named Georgia.
